Take a transfer to our luxury van to visit the Luxor Museum. This impressive museum houses a carefully chosen collection of ancient artifacts, ranging from the end of the Old Kingdom to the Mamluk period. These artifacts were predominantly collected from the Theban temples and necropolis. Afterward, proceed to explore the Karnak Temples, which are considered the most significant example of worship in history. These temples were dedicated to the gods Amon, Mut, and Khonsu and were constructed over a long period from the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco-Roman Kingdom. Next, visit Luxor Temple, which was originally built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom and later completed by Ramesses II in the 19th Dynasty. Ramesses II was the most renowned king of this dynasty and ruled Egypt for an impressive 67 years. Don’t forget to marvel at the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. After exploring the Valley of the Kings and visiting the tombs of various dynasties, including King Tut’s tomb, we returned to the cruise ship for a delicious dinner and a peaceful evening on board. Tutankhamun, who ruled Egypt for about 10 years in the 14th century BCE, gained worldwide fame when his nearly intact tomb was discovered in 1922. Today, he is known as ancient Egypt’s most famous pharaoh. During this tour, I will share lesser-known facts about Tutankhamun. We will also visit Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, a remarkable monument dedicated to Egypt’s well-known female pharaoh. Continuing our journey, we will explore the Valley of the Queens, a necropolis for the royal family and elite members of ancient Egypt. One of the highlights here is the colorful tomb of Queen Nefertari. Our next stop will be the Temple of Deir El Bahari, another significant structure associated with Queen Hatshepsut. On our way back, we will make a stop to admire the colossal sitting statues known as the Colossi of Memnon, representing Amenopis III. Finally, we will return to the Sun Boat and enjoy the luxurious amenities and breathtaking Nile views from our suites.
Embark on a journey to Kom Ombo and discover the captivating Kom Ombo Temple, which honors both the deity Horus, represented with a falcon head, as well as the deity Sobek, depicted with a crocodile head. Keep sailing towards Edfu and explore the Edfu Temple, which is well-preserved and devoted to the god Horus, depicted as a falcon. Once you’re finished, you can return to the Sunboat and relish the luxurious features and services offered on the ship as you keep moving towards Aswan.

Afterward, we will return to Aswan and transfer to the airport for a first-class flight to Cairo.

Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.

We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.
Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.
You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
