Our guide will go with you to explore the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Following that, we will visit the Great Sphinx, a colossal statue with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion that originated during the era of the Chephren. Furthermore, our tour encompasses a visit to the Valley Temple, associated with the Pyramid of Chephren.
You have the option to enjoy your lunch at a restaurant nearby. Afterwards, we will proceed to the Step Pyramids of Zoser, which hold the title of the oldest significant stone structure globally. These impressive architectural marvels were built in the 3rd Dynasty by King Djoser around 2630 BC. Once we have finished exploring the pyramids, we will arrange transportation for you to your hotel in Cairo, where you will spend the night.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an excursion to the renowned Egyptian Museum. This museum houses an impressive assortment of artifacts from the Pharaonic era, showcasing a rare collection of art spanning 5,000 years. Considered the most extensive and valuable compilation of Egyptian artifacts in the world, the museum proudly displays over 250,000 genuine pieces. One of the highlights is an exhibit solely dedicated to the treasures, gold, and jewelry belonging to Tutankhamen, which remained hidden in his tomb for over 3,500 years until their remarkable discovery in the 1920s during an excavation. If desired, you can enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo.
Next, proceed to Salah el-Din Citadel and explore the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. This mosque was built by Yousif Boushnaq, a renowned architect from Istanbul who was enlisted by Mohamed Ali, the leader of Egypt, during the period from 1805 to 1849. Boushnaq made a special journey to Egypt in order to construct this extraordinary mosque.
