Hello from Cairo, Egypt! When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, your assigned egywonders tour manager will be there to welcome you and assist you every step of the way. From there, you will be taken to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Upon reaching the hotel, the tour manager will ensure a smooth check-in process and go through your holiday plans with you. They will also confirm the pick-up times for your tours. Have a fantastic evening in Cairo with a delightful welcome drink.
After eating breakfast, your personal guide will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to see the famous Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. You will also be able to view the Sphinx and Valley Temple, which are situated near the remarkable statue. Additionally, there is an option to buy an extra ticket to visit the Solar Boat in front of the Cheops Pyramid. A top-notch lunch will be provided at a top-notch restaurant before continuing your journey to the Sakkara area. Here, you will get the opportunity to explore the Sakkara Complex and witness the very first pyramid ever built, the Djoser Pyramid. The final destination is Memphis, the ancient capital of the Old Kingdom, renowned for its famous Necropolis. You will spend the night in Cairo. The meals included are breakfast and lunch.

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.
Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.
You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
