Additionally, you will have the chance to see the pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and the smallest pyramid, Menkaure (Mykerinos), on the plateau. The plateau is famous not only for the pyramids but also for the enigmatic structure known as the Sphinx, where you will visit the Valley Temple. Eventually, you will be transported back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

After enjoying an early breakfast, your Tour Guide will take you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Once you arrive, a Representative will be there to assist you with checking in to your Nile Cruise in Luxor. From there, you will join your Tour Guide to visit Karnak Temple, the largest ancient religious site in the world. The hypostyle hall, with its enormous granite columns, is a well-known symbol of Egypt. You will have some free time to explore the different areas of the expansive complex, which was constructed over the reigns of multiple Pharaohs. Next, you will visit Luxor Temple, a structure built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for religious ceremonies and festivals dedicated to the God Amon. In the evening, you have the option to attend the highly recommended Sound and Light Show, which shares the fascinating historical story of Luxor and Karnak through visually stunning displays. Finally, you will return to your Nile cruise for the night in Luxor. You will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals in Pyramids, Nile Cruise, and Lake Nasser package.
You will be served breakfast on the boat in Luxor before your Guide takes you to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the important archaeological sites of Ancient Thebes. Your first stops will be the Colossi of Memnon, which are two huge statues of Amenhotep III, and the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, built into a cliff face and decorated with graphics depicting Hatshepsut’s expeditions to the mysterious land of Punt. After that, you will visit The Valley of the Kings to see several beautifully decorated tombs carved into the rock, which still have vibrant colors and detailed scenes from the Book of the Underworld. Please note that the three tombs you visit will be determined by the Egyptian government and may change throughout the year. The most popular tombs have walkways, electric lighting, and glass protection for the walls. You will then sail to Edfu via Esna Lock, where dinner and an overnight stay on the Nile cruise vessel will be provided. Please be aware that there is an extra charge to enter the Tombs of King Tutankhamun and Ramses VI. Meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, will be provided in the Pyramids, Nile Cruise, and Lake Nasser package.
Once you have finished breakfast on your Nile cruise ship in Aswan, you will continue sailing to visit Kom Ombo Temple. Among all the ancient temples in Egypt, this particular one stands out as the only one divided into two sections, representing its dedication to two Gods: Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility, and Horus, the falcon-headed God of the sky. Additionally, Kom Ombo Temple is renowned for its depictions of surgical tools, offering an early glimpse into the medical practices and surgery of Ancient Egypt.
During the afternoon, we sail along the Nile to reach Edfu and explore the impressive Ptolemaic Temple of Horus. This temple is known for its remarkable preservation and completeness, featuring numerous columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. At the entrance gate, we are greeted by two statues of Horus, and once inside, we come across an intriguing inscription that enumerates the titles of the books stored in the temple’s library. After the visit, we return to our Nile cruise vessel, where dinner is served. As we enjoy our meal, we can also partake in some afternoon tea on the sundeck. We will continue sailing overnight to Aswan, where we will spend the night. Our meals for the day include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
On the sixth day of the Pyramids, Nile Cruise, and Lake Nasser package, a guide will meet you to take you on a tour. This tour will include a visit to the Aswan High Dam, which was constructed in the 1960s to fulfill the country’s requirements for electricity and irrigation. The flooding of Nubia, the region affected by the dam, led to extensive archaeological excavations, providing Egypt with valuable discoveries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to see the “Unfinished Obelisk” in the granite quarries, where ancient Egypt sourced materials for their constructions.
It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled, but it was left behind when a crack was discovered during the hewing process. Take a boat to Angilika Island to visit the Philae Temple, one of the Nubian Temples saved before the construction of the High Dam. Explore Philae’s extensive colonnades, towers, and carved decorations, which include the only remaining hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt. Afterward, return to your Nile cruise ship for meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as leisure time in Aswan. You will spend the night on board the cruise ship.
On the seventh day of the Pyramids, Nile Cruise, and Lake Nasser package, you will leave the ship. Then, you will join our group transportation to Abu Simbel, which will take about 3.5 hours. Once you arrive at Abu Simbel, you will be taken to board your luxurious 5-star cruise on Lake Nasser. Optional flight upgrades are available upon request for the Aswan-Abu Simbel route. Meals provided include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Afterward, head back to the ship for a satisfying lunch as you continue sailing to Wadi el Seboua. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner on board and spend the night on the ship. Afterward, continue on to Beit el Wali to explore the lovely Kiosk of Kertassi, a temple that follows the Nubian architectural style and is dedicated to the Goddess Hathor. Lastly, you will be transferred from your cruise boat to Aswan Airport in an air-conditioned vehicle for your flight back to Cairo. You will spend the night at a hotel in Cairo. The meals provided will include breakfast.
On your last day of Pyramids, Nile Cruise, and Lake Nasser package, you will have breakfast at the hotel, and then your Tour Guide will accompany you to the renowned Egyptian Museum. The museum, designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon in neo-classical style, houses an extensive collection of over 120,000 artifacts. These artifacts span from the pre-dynastic era to the Greco-Roman period of Egypt. Notable items include the funerary treasures of King Tutankhamun, the colossal statues of Akhenaten, and the only surviving image of Khufu, the creator of Egypt’s Great Pyramid. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.

We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.
