The itinerary of the Petra Tour

You will be transported from your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh to Taba in a modern car with air conditioning, which will take approximately three and a half hours.

After arriving at Taba, you will be greeted and helped. From there, you will board a boat to Aqaba, where you will also receive assistance. You will then proceed directly to Petra for a full day of exploration.

Petra history: also known as the red rose rock city, Petra was a city carved into the mountains by the Nabateans. You will have the opportunity to ride on a horse through the Siq, a natural rock crevice that the Nabateans developed as part of their architectural structure. During the 1.2-kilometer walk through the canyon, you can admire the exquisite statues, idols, and niches that adorn its walls.

While making your way to the Treasury, you may find yourself contemplating when you will spot this historical site that has been present for over 2000 years around the corner. Afterward, continue along the facade street towards the roman theater, royal tombs, roman colonnaded street, and Qasr al-Bent.

Enjoy lunch, and then return to Aqaba port for the cruise back to Taba. Finally, drive back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheik.

• Children’s policy:

2. During the period of 2 to 5 years, a quarter of the trip cost is paid.
3. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 will be charged half of the tour’s total cost.
4. 12+: Pay the full round price per adult.
