An overnight trip to Jewish, Coptic, and old Cairo places is specially designed to view all religious archaeological areas in Cairo. And this trip is divided into two days.
You will see the three pyramids of Giza, the sphinx statue, and the valley temple, which is entirely made out of granite rocks that were brought from quarries in Aswan. Then, your destination is the Egyptian Museum, where you will have the opportunity to view numerous ancient Egyptian items that date back more than 500 years. Your day can conclude with a visit to the conventional markets via a sightseeing tour, and then you can return to your hotel accommodation.
This tour offers an excellent chance to discover the historic paths of Cairo and gain knowledge about the splendid past of this extraordinary city. After breakfast, your designated guide will accompany you to explore the renowned landmarks located in the ancient area of Cairo, which hold significant importance. The guide will share fascinating stories about each historic site, providing you with a deeper understanding of Egypt’s vast cultural heritage. This excursion is the perfect opportunity to walk along the ancient paths of Cairo.
We will begin our trip by visiting three well-known churches (Abuserja Church, St. Barbara Church, and The Hanging Church).
Located in the Fustat area of Old Cairo is the Ben Ezra Synagogue, an antique Jewish place often recognized as the spot where the infant Moses was discovered.
After eating at a restaurant close by, our intention is to explore the Salah ad-din Citadel and be amazed by the Muhammad Ali Mosque. The mosque was built in the Turkish style, which looks very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey.
