Overnight in Cairo
Begin your day with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which is the sole museum in Egypt that provides a comprehensive look into the various historical eras of the country. Housing over 50,000 artifacts, it showcases the evolution of Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times until the contemporary era. A must-visit area in the Egyptian Civilization Museum is the Royal Mummies Hall. Here, you will find a separate section dedicated to preserving the royal mummies that have been discovered in different tombs. The room is carefully regulated to maintain the proper climate for the mummies, showing that they are being well taken care of. These mummies, which have been mummified for over 4000 years, include those of Hatshepsut, Tuthmosis, and Ramses, who were kings of Egypt. Despite their age, the mummies are in good condition, although they may appear smaller and shorter than they were in their original state. Take your time to wander around this room and observe the pharaohs and queens resting peacefully in a climate-controlled environment, far away from their original burial sites.
Afterward, you can explore the Great Pyramids: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. Cheops is known for being the largest pyramid ever constructed. Afterwards, take a closer look at the Sphinx, a massive burial site protected by the mythical creature with the body of a lion and the face of King Chephren.
You will have a great time riding a camel and experiencing unique, breathtaking views of the Sphinx and Pyramids. I will also share fascinating stories about the lives of the Pharaohs that you won’t find in books, giving you exclusive hints and details.
If desired, take an evening excursion to experience the sound and light show in the vicinity of the Pyramids.

Continue your journey to Edfu and savor a delicious dinner on the boat. Later, join in on a lively disco party. Spend the night in Edfu.
Enjoy breakfast on the ship before proceeding to the Luxor Museum. This exceptional museum showcases a carefully selected and expertly showcased collection of ancient artifacts spanning from the later era of the Old Kingdom all the way to the Mamluk period. These priceless relics were predominantly sourced from the Theban temples and necropolis, providing valuable insights into the historical significance of the region.
Next, proceed to explore the Karnak Temples, which are unparalleled in their significance as a place of reverence throughout history. These awe-inspiring structures were built as a tribute to the deities Amon, Mut, and Khonsu, spanning from the Middle Kingdom all the way to the Graeco-Roman era.
Next, proceed to Luxor Temple. This ancient structure was constructed by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom. Ramesses II later finished the temple during the 19th Dynasty.
The most well-known ruler of the 19th Dynasty was King Ramses II, who governed Egypt for approximately 67 years. His rule was devoted to the worship of the powerful deities Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, who formed the Theban triad. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the Obelisk of Ramses II, located in front of the 1st Pylon, and consider spending the fourth night of mummies & king tut adventure on a cruise ship for a memorable experience.
Breakfast will be served on the ship, and then we will begin the process of getting off the ship. We will travel across to the West Bank in order to explore the Valley of the Kings and visit the tombs of different dynasties. One of the tombs we will go inside is the tomb of King Tutankhamun. Tutankhamun was the ruler of Egypt for about 10 years, from approximately 1336 to 1327 BCE. It was in November 1922 that Howard Carter and Lord Carnavon discovered Tutankhamun’s tomb, which was nearly intact, in the Valley of the Kings. The mummified body of the king was surrounded by valuable items in his golden coffin. The burial chamber was officially opened on February 17, 1923, in the presence of Egyptologists and government officials.
At present, Tutankhamun is the most well-known pharaoh of ancient Egypt. However, how much information do you truly possess about this young ruler? Throughout this tour, I will share with you some lesser-known details about Tutankhamun. Tourist attraction and was also the burial site for the queens of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs. It is important to keep exploring the Valley of the Queens, which is often referred to as Ta-Set-Neferu or “The Place of Beauty”. This valley was both a popular destination for tourists and the final resting place for the queens of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs.
In the necropolis, there are around 90 tombs dedicated to the members of the royal family and the upper class in ancient Egypt’s New Kingdom (1550–1070 BC). During your visit, you will have the opportunity to see the stunning and vibrant tomb of Queen Nefertari (which requires an additional ticket).
Next, proceed to explore the Temple of Deir el-Bahari, dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back, make a detour to the Colossi of Memnon, which consists of two enormous seated statues portraying Amenopis III and facing towards the Nile. Afterward, continue the itinerary by visiting the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Afterwards, proceed to Luxor Airport and board a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Stay in Cairo for the night.
