Experience a visit to the Temple of Kalabsha, a historic structure that has been disassembled and reconstructed on a hill close to the High-Dam location (Western Bank).
The temple at Kalabsha was initially constructed by Toutmosis II and Amenophis II and is located 40 miles south of Aswan. It was later renovated during the Roman conquest. Finally, the tour concludes with a visit to the highly anticipated Nubian Museum, which opened in 1997.
In this museum, you can see numerous historical artifacts that would have been submerged in Lake Nasser. The museum is named after the ancient Egyptian word for gold, Nbu, which refers to the renowned gold mines in the area.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to witness various life-size displays depicting Nubian life.
