After having breakfast, your personal guide will accompany you on the Holy Family Journey in Egypt. Your first destination will be the town of Bubastis, which is now known as Tel-Basta and is located about 100 kilometers northeast of Cairo. In this town, Jesus created a spring of water to drink, and you will have the opportunity to visit this holy well. After that, you will proceed to Belbeis, which was previously called ancient Philippos and is about 55 kilometers away from Cairo in the northeast direction. The Holy Family took a rest there under the shade of a tree, which is now called “The Virgin Mary’s Tree.” You will also have the chance to visit Saint George Church, situated at the same location. Afterwards, you will return to Cairo for lunch at a local restaurant and then go back to your hotel for an overnight stay. The meals provided during this holy family tour in egypt 15 day include breakfast and lunch.
You will begin your day in Cairo with breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, you will embark on a trip to Sakha, which is located approximately 140 kilometers north of Cairo. One of the main highlights of this trip is a visit to Virgin Mary Church, a well-known Christian community during the Middle Ages. Another significant site you will see is the footprint of Jesus Christ. From there, you will be transferred to Samanoud, the city where the holy family crossed the Nile. The people of Samanoud warmly welcomed the holy family, and they were blessed by Jesus Christ. During your time in Samanoud, you will also visit Saint Abanoub Church and the holy well where the holy family drank. As you make your way back, lunch will be provided in Tanta City. Finally, you will return to Cairo for an overnight stay at your hotel. Meals included in this trip are breakfast and lunch.
After your morning meal, your personal guide will accompany you to Wadi Natroun, a desert area believed to have received the blessing of Christ. The Holy Family journeyed through the western branch of the Nile River (the Rosetta branch) and reached Wadi al-Natrun. According to tradition, the Virgin Mary and Jesus sought refuge in this valley during their time in Egypt, and Jesus blessed the four corners of the valley. Wadi Al-Natroun is renowned as one of Egypt’s most famous valleys, known for its monasticism and religious devotion. There are still four monasteries in existence today. Begin your excursion with Deir al-Baramus, the oldest of the four monasteries, which is quite secluded. Then, continue on to Deir Anba Bishoy, where the remains of this saintly figure can still be found. Abu Makar Monastery follows. Finally, conclude your journey at Deir El-Suryani, the smallest and most compact of the four monasteries. Enjoy lunch as you return to Cairo, where you will spend the fourth night of holy family tour in egypt 15 day. Meals provided include breakfast and lunch.
On the sixth day of the holy family tour in egypt 15 day, you will be accompanied by your personal guide to explore the churches in the city. Your first stops will be the Hanging Church and St. Sergius. Afterwards, you will visit the Church of St. George and the Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo, which are significant sites as they were passed by the Holy Family. You will then head to Mostorod to see the Virgin Mary Church and visit the Holy Well and Holly Marry Tree at Matariya, on the outskirts of Cairo. These locations are historically recognized as resting places for the Holy Family and were popular among medieval pilgrims. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo and spend the fifth night of holy family tour in egypt 15 day there. The meals provided will be breakfast and lunch.
You will have breakfast at your hotel in Cairo before embarking on the Holy Family Trip to South Egypt. The Holy Family journeyed to the south by boat along the River Nile and stopped at a spot where the church of the Holy Virgin Mary stands today in Maadi. Many visitors visit this church, possibly indicating that the Holy Family passed by that location. The Holy Family continued their boat journey along the Nile, heading towards the south, specifically Upper Egypt. You will be transferred south to El Minya, which will take about 3 hours. Upon arrival in El Minya, you will have the opportunity to see the magnificent church carved out of the cliff by the river in Gabal Al-Teir, Minya. You will spend the night in Minya. Meals provided include breakfast and lunch.
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel in Minya before continuing on the Holy Family route. Visit the White Monastery, which was constructed in 400 AD by St. Senouda using blocks from ancient Egyptian buildings. Inside the monastery, there is a basilica church that utilizes columns from ancient Egyptian structures. The walls and ceilings are adorned with beautiful paintings. In the past, this monastery housed more than 2000 monks. Next, head to the Monastery of Al Muharraq in Assiut (also known as the Monastery of the Holy Virgin at Al Qusiya). This monastery was built around the area where the Holy Family stayed for just over 6 months. During their time there, they primarily resided in a cave that later became the altar of the Church of the Virgin Mary during the Coptic era. After completing the Holy Family route, continue driving to Luxor for approximately 5 hours. Along the way, make a stop at Danadara Temple in Qena to explore the Temple of Hathor, the goddess of love and joy. The temple is located in Dendera, north of Luxor. Finally, transfer to your hotel in Luxor for an overnight stay. The meals for the day include breakfast and lunch.

Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.
Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.

We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.
