When you arrive at Cairo airport, our representative will be there waiting for you, holding a sign that says egywonders Tours. Your visa is included (for most nationalities) and you will then be driven to your hotel in an air-conditioned car. You will spend the night in Cairo.
Begin your day with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the sole museum in Egypt that provides a comprehensive representation of the various historical eras of Egypt. Afterward, you can explore the impressive Great Pyramids, including Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. Cheops, in particular, is known to be the largest pyramid ever created. Following this, you can also get up close to the Sphinx, an enormous funeral site protected by the iconic half-lion, half-human figure with the likeness of King Chephren.
Have a great time riding a camel and take in the fantastic panoramic sights of the Sphinx and Pyramids. Discover fascinating untold stories about the life of the Pharaohs, with exclusive hints and details that you won’t find in any books.
In the morning, our guide will come to your hotel to collect you for breakfast. Begin your tour by exploring the ancient Step Pyramids of Zoser, known as the oldest stone structure in the world. These pyramids were constructed during the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser around 2630 BC. Next, make your way to Memphis, the original capital city of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, established by King Menes. Memphis held significant political and cultural importance for over 3000 years and was considered the heart of Egyptian rule. Take some time to admire the Statue of Ramses II before heading back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
You have the option to take an evening excursion and have dinner on a Nile cruise for two hours, where you can also watch traditional Egyptian folk performances.
On the fourth day of Dahabiya Yacht and Pharaoh’s Adventure, you will be transferred to the domestic airport. From there, you will depart by plane to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the famous sites in Luxor that are located on both sides of the river Nile. One of these sites is the Valley of the Kings, where you will have the opportunity to visit inside King Tut’s tomb. Additionally, you will visit other sites such as Hatshepsut, Memenon Colossi, and Karnak Temple. Afterward, you will be driven to the dock to board the Dahabiya and begin your unique journey. You will spend the night on the Dahabiya.
After having breakfast, we will go to Abydos to explore the historical site where the ancient Egyptians believed their god, known as the Lord of the underworld, was laid to rest. This temple, named the temple of Seti I, was constructed by King Seti I and later finalized by King Ramsess II.
The Osiris Temple in Abydos, situated in the Sohag Government, is approximately 420 km south of Cairo and 135 km north of Luxor. The stunningly preserved paintings of Gods and Pharaohs on the temple walls are considered some of the most beautiful in Egypt. Afterward, the journey continues to Dandara, where the Temple of Hathor, the goddess of love and joy, is located. This temple can be found in Dandara, which is situated to the north of Luxor.
Afterwards, you will be chauffeured to the pier where you will be embarking on the Dahabiya to commence your unparalleled voyage.
Start your sixth day of Dahabiya Yacht and Pharaoh’s Adventure with breakfast. Then, hop on your Dahabiya boat and sail towards Edfu. You’ll reach Edfu around midday, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the impressive Edfu Temple. This temple is one of Egypt’s largest and best-preserved monuments. As you enter, you will be greeted by two stunning granite statues of the Falcon God Horus. Enjoy lunch on board the boat and continue sailing towards Silsela Hormoheb Temple. For dinner, you can either dine in the temple’s grounds, on an island, or on the upper deck of the boat, all while enjoying a serene atmosphere and matching music.
Enjoy breakfast at your own pace and then embark on a sailing journey to the Kom Ombo Temple. Explore the remarkable Greco Roman Temple located there. Continue sailing towards Aswan while immersing yourself in the soothing sounds of water buffalos bathing in the shallow waters near the Nile’s banks, the everyday activities of donkeys, and the diverse bird species inhabiting the river. Spend the night near the entrances of Aswan city for a convenient stay.
Enjoy breakfast on the boat before being transported by private bus to explore the Philae Temple and The High Dam. Afterwards, take the opportunity to visit a Nubian village situated on the western bank of the Nile River. As you travel, take in the stunning views of Soheil Island and the Aswan Dam, and make sure to capture these scenic moments with your camera. Accompanied by your guide, experience a local village and meet a traditional Nubian family. Discover their way of life, delve into their rich culture, and gain a deeper understanding of the ancient traditions that the Nubians have maintained for centuries.

(Optional ) Abu Simbel trip: Traveling to the Temple of Abu Simbel is an opportunity to witness the magnificent structure, constructed by Ramses II in ancient Egypt. This colossal temple, which has recently been protected from the flooding of the Nile, is considered one of the most impressive monuments in Egyptian history.
The temples were constructed using sandstone from a rocky cliff, and each temple has carvings of the specific deities they were dedicated to on their large front. Close by is the small Temple of Nefertari, the wife of the King, which is dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Afterward, we returned to Aswan. Take a flight from Aswan airport to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the night in Cairo.
The tour will start by visiting the Alexandria library, which is famous for being the biggest library in the world, housing 8 million books. You can explore the library’s open court, where you will find statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy the first. Interestingly, the statue of Ptolemy was found underwater nearby. Our guide will explain the library’s architecture from the outside, giving you a chance to take photos. Come and explore the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria, a remarkable attraction where you can observe the captivating display of Alexandria’s submerged historical sites. These interesting artifacts were discovered underneath the East harbor of Alexandria.
Afterward, the car will take you to St. Mark church, the oldest church in Africa. After visiting the church, you will explore the historical downtown area of Alexandria, where you can leisurely walk around the city center. Take some time to browse through the traditional markets, where you can find a wide range of goods, including delicious Egyptian desserts. Then, the car will drive you to visit the most beautiful and largest mosque in the city, called Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Next to it, you will come across an interesting sight – an abandoned amusement park where children enjoy riding old-fashioned fairground rides and eating cotton candy. Make sure you don’t pass up the chance to appreciate the outer appearance of Quaitbay castle, which was built exactly where the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria used to stand – a remarkable structure from the seven wonders of the ancient world. This castle offers an outstanding location for capturing stunning pictures.
Afterwards, the transportation will take you to the Montaza Gardens. During the journey, you have the choice to take a quick two-minute break at the King of Mango, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink of freshly squeezed juices from Alexandria’s drive-thru. While heading towards Montaza Palace and Gardens, which are approximately 25 km away, you can admire the breathtaking coastline and different city views. Moreover, you will pass by Alexandria’s historic harbor, where we made a remarkable discovery of 7,000 underwater monuments. Finally, you will spend the night in Alexandria.
On the eleventh day of Dahabiya Yacht and Pharaoh’s Adventure, You will be collected from your hotel by our guide for breakfast, after which you will be transported to Rosetta for a visit. Traveling a distance of 60 km, one can witness the uncomplicated lifestyle of Rosetta and embark on a journey from Alexandria to Rosetta in one day.
When you arrive, you will board a motor boat on the Nile River. During the boat ride, you will witness the convergence of the Nile River with the Mediterranean Sea and visit the fortress where the Rosetta Stone was famously unearthed in 1799.
Once you complete these activities, you will come across numerous Islamic landmarks. Enjoy a hassle-free journey back to your hotel, as Rosetta offers an abundance of attractions, sensations, culinary delights, and shopping opportunities. If you wish to extend your itinerary, simply inform us of your preferences, and we will make the necessary arrangements. You will be transferred comfortably back to your Cairo hotel. We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.
Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.
You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
