This temple is unique compared to others due to its dual entrances, each dedicated to a different deity: “Haroeris” with a falcon head and “Sobek” with a crocodile head.
The construction of the Temple of Kom Ombo was a tribute to two gods: Sobek, with a crocodile head, known as the god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris, also known as Horus, with a falcon head. Additionally, the significance of Kom Ombo extends to its vast sugar-cane fields.
