When you reach Cairo airport, our representative will be there to welcome you with a sign from Egywonders Tours. The visa is already included for most nationalities. After that, you will be taken to your hotel in an air-conditioned car. You will spend the night in Cairo.
Begin your second day of 9 days of Dahabiya’s luxurious yacht with breakfast, then head to the Egyptian Civilization Museum, the sole museum in Egypt that provides a comprehensive glimpse into the various historical eras of the country. Boasting over 50,000 artifacts, this museum offers a thorough presentation of Egyptian civilization from ancient times to the present.
The Royal Mummies Hall at the Egyptian Civilization Museum is a must-visit attraction. It has a dedicated area where royal mummies, which were discovered in various tombs, are kept preserved. The room is carefully regulated to maintain the climate, ensuring that the mummies are well cared for. These mummies, which were mummified over 4000 years ago, include the kings of Hatshepsut, Tuthmosis, and Ramses, and they are in surprisingly good condition. The bodies of the kings and queens are slender, and the mummies appear smaller and shorter than their original size. Take a leisurely walk through this room and observe these pharaohs and queens as they rest in peace, now far away from their original burial sites.
Experience the opportunity to explore the majestic Great Pyramids including Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions, as well as the Sphinx and the Valley Temples.
Experience a delightful camel ride while taking in the breathtaking sights of the Sphinx and Pyramids. Immerse yourself in the captivating tales of the Pharaohs’ lives, as I share exclusive insights and intriguing details that cannot be found in books.
Take an evening excursion to the Pyramids area to witness the captivating Sound & Light show. Spend the night in Cairo.
Enjoy your breakfast before heading to the local airport for an early transfer. Take a flight to Aswan to begin your journey.
When you visit the Philae Temple, explore the High Dam, and take a stroll through the lively Aswan Bazaar. After that, you will arrive at the boat where the Captain and his crew will warmly welcome you and assist with transporting your luggage to your cabins. Enjoy a delicious lunch on board before setting sail towards Esna. As you cruise along the Nile, you can listen to the serene sounds of water buffalo wading in the shallow waters, observe the Donkeys going about their daily activities, and marvel at the diverse bird species that inhabit the river. This will end the third day of 9 days of Dahabiya’s luxurious yacht.
On the fourth day of 9 days of Dahabiya’s luxurious yacht, you will visit The Temple of Horus in Edfu. Go through the lock. Sail to Luxor. Have afternoon tea. Enjoy dinner on the boat and participate in a Galabya party. Stay overnight in Luxor. Have a leisurely breakfast. Here, we will visit the Greco Roman Temple at Kom Ombo. The temple is perfectly balanced with two entrances, two halls, and two sanctuaries dedicated to the Falcon God Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and the Crocodile God Sobek. We will continue our calm journey to the temple of Gebel el Silsila, which is not a well-known destination. You will be impressed when we dock next to the Speos of Hormheb. If possible, dinner will be served in the temple’s illuminated grounds or on the upper deck, creating a peaceful atmosphere with matching music.
Have a relaxing breakfast, then take a horse-drawn carriage to Edfu Temple, which is one of Egypt’s largest and well-preserved monuments. There are two impressive granite statues of the Falcon God Horus at the entrance. After exploring the temple, you can either ride or walk through the extensive bazaar, where you can negotiate for souvenirs, spices, and perfumes. Later, we will sail to an island where we will disembark and enjoy dinner on the edge of the Nile, depending on the weather conditions. Alternatively, dinner will be served on the Sun Deck. Get ready for a fun-filled Egyptian evening, complete with Egyptian cuisine and Arabic music. Dress up in traditional Gallabeyah or belly dancing attire. We will continue sailing towards Esna and spend the night there.
After having breakfast, we said goodbye to the Captain and the crew. Your bags will be collected and made ready for your journey to Luxor. During your visit to Luxor, you will have the opportunity to go sightseeing and visit the Valley of the Kings. One of the highlights of this visit will be the chance to actually go inside King Tut’s tomb. Tutankhamun was the ruler of Egypt for about 10 years, from roughly 1336-1327 BCE. In November of 1922, Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon discovered Tutankhamun’s nearly intact tomb in the Valley of the Kings. Within the burial chamber, alongside the mummified body of the king, they found a multitude of precious grave goods. The official opening of the burial chamber took place on February 17, 1923, in the presence of Egyptologists and government officials.
Currently, Tutankhamun is considered the most renowned pharaoh in ancient Egypt. However, it is essential to question how well-informed individuals truly are about the young king. Throughout this excursion, I will uncover the lesser-known details regarding Tutankhamun.
You will additionally explore Hatshepsut, the Memenon Colossi, and Karnak Temple.
Take a flight from Luxor Airport to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the night in Cairo.
Begin your seventh day of 9 days of Dahabiya’s luxurious yacht by visiting the renowned library of Alexandria, which holds the prestigious title of being the largest library globally with an impressive collection of 8 million books. Take the opportunity to explore its open court and complimentary museums, providing a wealth of knowledge and cultural experiences.

Next, explore the famous Lighthouse Site, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Nowadays, it is home to the Qaitbey Castle. Additionally, take a stroll through the exquisite royal gardens once enjoyed by King Farouk, the final ruler of Egypt. Don’t miss the chance to marvel at the opulent Haramlek and Salamlek palaces, along with the picturesque beaches favored by the queens. Continue your journey by paying a visit to the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, widely regarded as the most beautiful and largest in the city. Additionally, be sure to stop by the memorial dedicated to the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue honoring the renowned leader, Alexander the Great.
Afterwards, you have the option to have lunch before continuing your visit to the historic church of St. Mark, which holds the title of being the oldest church in Africa. Following this, you will embark on a drive along the Cornish, covering a distance of 30 kilometers, allowing you to admire the entire city of Alexandria from the seaside. Here, you will also get to witness the ancient harbor of Alexandria, where an impressive collection of 7000 submerged monuments has been discovered. Don’t miss the chance to stop at the renowned Stanley Bridge, which serves as a symbolic representation of modern Alexandria. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to explore the old downtown area of Alexandria and wander through its city center, originally built by the famous conqueror, Alexander the Great. Finally, you will be comfortably transported back to your hotel.
If you have spare time and want to enhance your itinerary, let us know what you’re interested in and we can arrange for you to explore, experience, taste, and purchase various offerings in Alexandria. Rest assured, we will only charge you the actual cost, with no added profit for us.

Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.

We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.
