Once you arrive at the boat, the captain and crew will greet you and transport your luggage to your cabins. Enjoy a lunch on board before we begin our journey to Esna. As we sail towards Kom Ombo, you can listen to the peaceful sounds of water buffalos in the shallow waters of the Nile, donkeys going about their daily routines, and the diverse bird life along the river banks.
Begin your fourth day of 8 days of Dahabiya luxury yacht with a visit to The Temple of Horus in Edfu. After crossing the lock, we will set sail towards Luxor. Enjoy an afternoon tea and later dinner on board, followed by a Galabya party. Spend the night in Luxor and wake up at your own leisure for breakfast. Our next stop will be the Greco-Roman Temple at Kom Ombo, which features a symmetrical design with two entrances, two halls, and two sanctuaries dedicated to the gods Haroeris and Sobek. We will then continue our journey to the temple of Gebel el Silsila, a lesser-known destination. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the Speos of Hormheb, where we will dock and, if possible, enjoy dinner on the temple grounds or on the upper deck with soothing music to enhance the serene atmosphere.
You can enjoy breakfast at your own pace and then take a horse carriage to visit Edfu Temple, which is one of the largest and best-preserved monuments in Egypt. The entrance is adorned with two impressive granite statues of the Falcon God Horus. After exploring the temple, you can choose to either ride or walk through the extensive bazaar, where you can haggle for souvenirs, spices, and perfumes. Later, we will sail to an island where we will have dinner on the Nile’s edge, depending on the weather, or on the Sun Deck. Get ready for a lively Egyptian evening filled with delicious Egyptian cuisine and Arabic music. Dress up in your custom-made Gallabeyah or belly dancing outfit. As we gently sail towards Esna, we will spend the night there.
After finishing our breakfast, we said our goodbyes to the Captain and the crew. Your luggage will be collected and made available for you to take with you on your journey to Luxor. During your visit to Luxor, you will have the opportunity to go sightseeing and explore the Valley of the Kings. One of the main attractions you will see is King Tut’s tomb, which you will have the chance to visit from the inside. Tutankhamun, who ruled Egypt for about 10 years from approximately 1336–1327 BCE, had his tomb discovered in the Valley of the Kings by Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon in November 1922. The tomb was found to be nearly intact, containing the mummified body of the king surrounded by valuable grave goods, all held within his golden coffin. Following the official opening of his burial chamber on February 17, 1923, witnessed by Egyptologists and government officials, the remarkable discovery was revealed.
Currently, Tutankhamun holds the title of ancient Egypt’s most renowned pharaoh. However, it is crucial to assess your acquaintance with this young ruler. In this tour, I will present lesser-known information regarding Tutankhamun.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore Hatshepsut, the Memnon Colossi, and Karnak Temple.
Travel to Luxor Airport and fly to Cairo. Once you arrive, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the night in Cairo.
The guide assigned to our group will collect you from your accommodation and accompany you on a trip to Alexandria.

Additionally, take a stroll through the royal gardens of King Farouk, the final monarch of Egypt, where you can admire the regal Haramlek and Salamlek palaces, along with the beautiful beaches reserved for the queens. Afterwards, make your way to the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, a stunning and expansive place of worship, followed by a visit to the memorial honoring the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.
Afterward, you have the choice to pause for a meal, if desired, before heading to the St. Mark church, which is the oldest church in Africa. This view includes the ancient harbor of Alexandria, where a remarkable 7,000 underwater monuments have been discovered. Before venturing into the old downtown area of Alexandria, make a stop at the famous Stanley Bridge, a modern symbol of the city. This will be followed by a visit to the old city center of Alexandria, originally built by Alexander the Great. Finally, enjoy a comfortable journey back to your hotel.
If you have time and want to enhance your itinerary, Alexandria offers a plethora of attractions, experiences, cuisine, and shopping options. Simply inform us of your interests, and we will make arrangements for you at the exact cost incurred, without any additional markup for our own profit.

Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.
Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.
Attention: If you possess a valid Schengen, USA, or UK Visa, we can offer you visa assistance upon your arrival. There is no need for you to apply at the embassy in advance.
We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.
