Begin your second day of 7 days cairo & alexandria package with breakfast, followed by a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Inside, you will find an exceptional assortment of artwork spanning 5,000 years, forming the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art. The museum showcases more than 250,000 authentic artifacts, among them a special exhibition highlighting the remarkable treasures, gold, and jewelry from the tomb of Tutankhamen. These ancient treasures remained untouched for over 3,500 years until their excavation in the 1920s.
Come and see the magnificent Great Pyramids: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. Among them, Cheops stands out as the largest and most impressive. Additionally, you can explore the Sphinx, an enormous burial site protected by the famous lion body with the face of King Chephren. As an added bonus, you can also experience a complimentary camel ride.
(Not mandatory) Take an evening excursion to savor a meal on a Nile cruise lasting 2 hours, which will also feature captivating Egyptian traditional performances.

To kick off your trip to Alexandria, our tour guide will come to your hotel and take you on a tour. Begin by exploring the renowned library of Alexandria, which holds the title of being the largest in the world, boasting an impressive collection of 8 million books. Feel free to explore its open court and visit the various museums within.
Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on Fridays or during public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to buy a separate ticket.
Afterwards, explore the location where the lighthouse, known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood, now occupied by Qaitbey Castle. Take a stroll through the splendid royal gardens once belonging to King Farouk, the final monarch of Egypt, and admire the Haramlek and Salamlek royal palaces, alongside the scenic beaches that were enjoyed by the queens. Proceed with your itinerary by paying a visit to the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, renowned for being the most beautiful and largest mosque in the city. Additionally, explore the memorial dedicated to the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue honoring the famous conqueror, Alexander the Great.
Afterwards, you have the choice to take a break for lunch if you want. Then, you can proceed to visit the church of St. Mark, which is considered the oldest church in Africa. Next, you will drive along the Cornish, a 30-kilometer stretch, to get a panoramic view of Alexandria from the seaside. This view includes the old harbor of Alexandria, where we have discovered 7,000 underwater monuments. Before heading to your hotel, make a stop at the famous Stanley Bridge, which is a prominent modern landmark in Alexandria. Finally, visit the old downtown of Alexandria and explore the historic city center, originally built by Alexander the Great. You will return to your hotel in comfort.
If you have the time and desire to enhance your itinerary, Alexandria offers a multitude of sights, sensations, culinary delights, and shopping opportunities. Simply inform us of your interests, and we will gladly organize and provide these experiences for you without any additional costs or profit for us.

Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.
Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.
Attention: If you possess a valid Schengen, USA, or UK Visa, we can offer you visa assistance upon your arrival. There is no need for you to apply at the embassy in advance.
We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.
