Day 1: Greetings from Cairo, Egypt, where your vacation begins!

Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, our tour manager will be waiting for you with a sign displaying the name “egywonders“. You will then be transferred to your hotel, where you will spend the night.

Overnight: Cairo

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara, Cairo, and Luxor

On the second day of 6 days pharaohs adventure package, You’ll go to visit the amazing pyramids and the huge Sphinx at Giza Plateau. It is believed that the largest pyramid, Khufu (Cheops), was built using more than 2.5 million limestone blocks, weighing approximately 6 million metric tons. This is quite impressive considering that the pyramids were constructed without the use of modern equipment. If I feel like it, I might choose to go for a camel ride as well. After Giza, I will continue my journey to the necropolis of Saqqara, where I will have the opportunity to explore numerous temples and tombs buried in the sand. It is in Saqqara that I will see Zhoser’s step pyramid, which had six steps and served as a prototype for Egypt’s most notable architectural legacy. Later tonight, I will be taking an overnight sleeper train to Luxor.

Caution: We do not advise it, as it will consume 15 to 18 hours. We suggest upgrading and opting for a domestic flight instead, as it offers a more comfortable travel experience and an additional night at a luxurious 5-star hotel.

Day 3: Luxor

On the third day of 6 days pharaohs adventure package, we reached Luxor and completed our check-in process at the hotel. Luxor, also known as ancient Thebes, is one of the most remarkable open-air museums in the world, boasting a history that spans 4000 years. For the next two days, we will be exploring this fascinating site. Take some time to relax and unwind. In the evening, there is an optional visit to the Temple of Luxor, which is beautifully lit up with colorful lights after sunset. You can book and pay for this visit directly on-site. The rest of the evening is free, allowing you to enjoy the amenities of our hotel at your leisure.

Day 4: Valley of the Kings

Enjoy a thrilling hot air balloon ride over the historic city of Luxor in the morning, followed by a visit to the West Bank of the Nile. Our first stop will be the Colossi of Memnon, a pair of gigantic statues that are the only remnants of the temple of Amenophis III. Later, we will explore the Valleys of the Kings and the impressive temple of Queen Hatshepsut with its striking colonnades.

After going back to our hotel, we have some leisure time before heading to Karnak. Karnak is not just a temple but a magnificent collection of sanctuaries, pylons, and obelisks, constructed on a magnificent level. At the peak of Theban dominance, Karnak held significant significance as a place of worship. Eventually, we will make our way back to Cairo on an overnight sleeper train.

Day 5: Egyptian Museum

Upon arriving in Cairo, proceed to check in at the hotel. Afterwards, embark on a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum, where you will have the opportunity to witness the renowned solid gold death mask of King Tutankhamen. The rest of the afternoon and evening will be yours to explore and engage in activities of your choice.

Day 6: Cairo

This will be the last meal provided on the tour, and after that, there will be transportation arranged to take us to the airport for our departure.

Hotel Rating in Egypt:

• Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.

Visa Service:

• Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.

• Attention: If you possess a valid Schengen, USA, or UK Visa, we can offer you visa assistance upon your arrival. There is no need for you to apply at the embassy in advance.

Traveling by overnight train is not recommended.

• We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.

Domestic flights:

The programs provide an estimate of the average cost and duration of domestic flights.

Extra fees may be added to flight tickets during peak seasons and if booked last minute, as they can become quite expensive without any prior warning. Asking for certain times for flights or making changes to reservations that have already been made may cause the total cost of the package to be adjusted.

Cruise schedule and Sailing times:

Occasionally, changes may occur in the Cruise itineraries, schedule, and sailing times along the Nile due to weather and sailing conditions. However, we guarantee that our clients will still have the opportunity to experience everything listed on their itineraries, although the order may vary.

Children’s policy:

1. Under 2 years free of charge.

2. During the period of 2 to 5 years, a quarter of the trip cost is paid.

3. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 will be charged half of the tour’s total cost.

4. 12+: Pay the full round price per adult.

Additional Entry Tickets

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.

Alexandria Trip

Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.

Essential Packing

You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
