After reaching Cairo Airport, you will be greeted by our representative holding the egywonders Tours sign. Following that, you will be taken to your hotel in an air-conditioned car. You will be staying overnight in Cairo.
Begin your second day of 6 days cairo & alexandria tour with breakfast and then make your way to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Here, you will find a remarkable exhibition showcasing a vast assortment of artwork spanning 5,000 years, representing the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art globally.
More than 250,000 authentic objects are showcased, including a special section featuring the valuable possessions, gold, and jewelry belonging to Tutankhamen. These items were sealed inside his tomb for over 3,500 years until their excavation in the 1920s. Come and explore the magnificent Great Pyramids, including the extraordinary structures of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. The grandeur of Cheops is unparalleled, as it is the largest pyramid ever constructed. To begin your trip to Alexandria, our guide will come to your hotel and take you there. The first stop will be at the Library of Alexandria, which is currently the largest library globally, housing a collection of 8 million books. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore its open court and visit the museums free of charge.
Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on Fridays or on public holidays. Additionally, acquiring an additional ticket is necessary in order to access the reading area.
Next, take a trip to the Lighthouse Site, a notable landmark among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and now home to the majestic Qaitbey Castle. Explore the splendid royal gardens once owned by King Farouk, the final monarch in Egypt’s history, and marvel at the grandeur of the Haramlek and Salamlek royal palaces, along with the beautiful beaches once frequented by the queens. Carry on your journey by visiting the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, an enchanting and expansive place of worship, followed by a visit to the memorial honoring the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue commemorating the legendary Alexander the Great.

Following that, you can drive along the coast for about 30 kilometers in order to observe Alexandria from a seaside perspective. For breakfast, our tour guide will collect you from your hotel and take you to the Step Pyramids of Zoser, which are the oldest significant stone structures in the world.
Constructed during the reign of King Djoser in approximately 2630 BC, this architectural marvel, known as the Step Pyramid, served as a significant landmark. Following its establishment, the city of Memphis, founded by King Menes, became the capital of Ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom. Over the course of more than 3000 years, it held great importance as a hub for governance and cultural development. Additionally, this location also offers the opportunity to witness the Statue of Ramses II. Continuing your journey southward, you will have the chance to explore the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid, situated in Dahshur. A delightful lunch awaits you at a local Egyptian restaurant.

Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.
You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
