The cost of the trip depends on the travel dates, the size of the group, and whether the dahabiya is shared or private. Typically, private dahabiyahs are pricier since they provide a more exclusive and tailored experience. Additionally, prices may fluctuate depending on the season, with peak times being more expensive compared to quieter periods. Please get in touch with us for additional information.

Upon arrival in Luxor for the remarkable 5-Day Esna to Aswan MS Amoura Dahabiya Nile cruise, your tour manager will be present at the airport or railway station to warmly welcome and assist you. They will accompany you on an unforgettable sightseeing tour of Luxor. Additionally, an expert tour guide will be with you throughout the journey to maximize your experience and ensure that you make the most of this tour.
During your tour, you will have the opportunity to explore Egypt’s renowned and captivating ancient artifacts. This includes a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where over 70 royal tombs are located, such as the tomb of King Tutankhamen and the tomb of Ramesses II. Additionally, you will have the chance to discover the impressive Karnak Temple, the majestic Colossi of Memnon, and the remarkable rock-cut temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Once you have completed your visit to these incredible destinations, you will be taken to Esna in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Upon reaching your destination, you will embark on the exquisite MS Amoura Dahabiya, a classic river yacht with luxurious accommodations that will serve as your residence on the water throughout the rest of your trip.
Once you board, the crew will be there to help you, and you’ll have plenty of time to get comfortable in your cabin or suite before enjoying a delightful dinner on board. You will spend your first night of the cruise sleeping on the water at Esna.
Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner
Rise and indulge in a delightful breakfast on board at your own pace as the Dahabiya sails towards Edfu. When you’re done with your meal, either unwind in your cabin or take a seat on the ship’s expansive sundeck and appreciate the beautiful surroundings as they pass by. When you reach Edfu, you’ll disembark and be transported to explore the Edfu Temple in a charming horse-drawn carriage.
The Edfu Temple, which remained buried under sand for approximately 2,000 years, stands as one of the largest and best-preserved temples from the ancient era. Approaching the entrance by horse-drawn carriage, alongside the captivating granite statues of Horus, the falcon god, creates an unforgettable experience.
Once you have had enough time to thoroughly explore this incredible site, a carriage will transport you to a vast marketplace where you can negotiate and exchange goods to bring back for your family or friends. You will have the option to either explore the marketplace by walking or to be driven around in the carriage.
At last, you will come back to the MS Amoura before lunch and while sailing towards Silsela Hormoheb Temple. Once you reach there, you will have the opportunity to visit and explore this captivating location. Additionally, there is a possibility of having dinner on the premises of this ancient site. If that’s not possible, dinner will be provided either on a small neighboring island or on the sundeck of your boat. Tonight, you will be spending the night here, but you will enjoy the comfort of your cabin onboard.
Complimentary meals are provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Start your third day of 5 days with Ms. Amoura Dahabiya with a delightful breakfast by the water as you calmly sail towards Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, everyone will get off the boat, and you will be escorted to see the impressive Kom Ombo Temple. This magnificent Greco-Roman temple is filled with captivating history, which your knowledgeable guide will eagerly share with you.
After you have finished exploring the temple, you will return to your river yacht. It will start sailing towards Aswan, making a stop right before entering the city. During your cruise to Aswan, you can anticipate seeing abundant wildlife and breathtaking scenery. You will have lunch and dinner on the yacht once more and spend the night on board, just outside of Aswan.
Included in the package are three meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Following a delightful breakfast onboard during your fourth day of 5 days with Ms. Amoura Dahabiya, your Dahabiya river yacht will dock, and all guests will step off to explore the incredible Philae Temple. Similar to other ancient structures in the Lake Nasser area, the Philae Temple was relocated entirely to protect it from the escalating waters of the lake after the Aswan High Dam was built.
After spending ample time exploring and capturing photos of this extraordinary location, you will be guided to witness the Aswan High Dam itself. Subsequently, you will be able to roam the vibrant Aswan bazaar before finally returning to the boat for a well-deserved break and another peaceful night’s sleep on the water.
Included in the package are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Unfortunately, today marks the end of your unforgettable 5 days with Ms. Amoura Dahabiya. However, before leaving for the final time, take a moment to relax and savor one last breakfast on this delightful vessel. After finishing your meal, it will be time to collect your belongings and finally depart.
Again, there will be a tour manager available to help you whenever you need it. They will do everything possible to support you and accompany you to the airport or train station, ensuring that you can proceed with your travel plans.

Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.
Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.
Attention: If you possess a valid Schengen, USA, or UK Visa, we can offer you visa assistance upon your arrival. There is no need for you to apply at the embassy in advance.
We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.
Enjoy a worry-free journey and ensure your safety by opting for the AIG Travel Guard Travel Insurance program. For a duration of one week, the cost is $25 per person, while for trips lasting longer than one week, the price increases to $50 per person.
Upgrade your mode of transportation to a luxurious van in order to enhance and improve your travel experience with a higher level of comfort.
Exclusive deal: For an extra fee of only 50 dollars per individual, you have the opportunity to indulge in the top-notch features and services provided by Business Class. This includes ample leg space and comfortable seats, mouthwatering meals, and high-quality entertainment options.
