This museum houses an unparalleled assortment of artwork spanning 5,000 years, making it the most extensive and valuable collection of Egyptian art globally. Additionally, it contains the renowned Tutankhamen collection, which comprised treasures, gold, and jewelry that had been untouched in his tomb for more than 3,500 years until its excavation in 1920. Overnight in Cairo
Enjoy a spiritual day trip in Cairo, visiting Islamic and Coptic sites, starting with breakfast at your hotel. Your guide will then pick you up and take you to the Citadel of Salah El Din, a fortress constructed in 1183 AD on the Moqattam hills. This citadel was built to protect Cairo from Crusader armies. Next, you will visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, an impressive mosque designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq. Boushnaq traveled from Istanbul to build this remarkable structure for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt from 1805 to 1849, who reigned for over 45 years.
Afterwards, you will proceed to Old Coptic Cairo, where you will have the opportunity to explore the renowned attractions of the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church, and Synagogue.
Back to the hotel Overnight in Cairo
Your egywonders tour guide will pick you up from your place of stay to start the tour at the library in Alexandria. This library is presently the biggest globally, with an impressive collection of 8 million books. Enjoy a visit to the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria, where you can witness the display of the hidden historical landmarks of Alexandria, revealed beneath the city’s East Harbor.
Later on, the car will take you on a journey to discover St. Mark’s Church, which happens to be the oldest church found in Africa. Subsequently, you will have the chance to explore the historically significant downtown area of Alexandria. In this part of the city, you can leisurely walk around the old city center and witness the lively traditional markets.
There is a widespread belief that the El Nabi Daniel Mosque is linked to the burial site of Alexander the Great. There are speculations that within this mosque lie the remains of the esteemed scholar Prophet Daniel as well as his trusted companion Sidi Lokman el Hakim, who was renowned for his religious narratives.
You can choose to have your lunch break at a modern seafood restaurant or at a famous and old-fashioned Alexandrian restaurant known as Mohamed Ahmed’s. This place is highly recommended by the Queen of Spain and many other important people whenever they visit Alexandria.
Continue to discover by traversing the ancient market district of Mansheya and witnessing the existence of the age-old women’s markets, referred to as zanet setat, characterized by their maze-like alleyways. Additionally, you will stumble upon a bazaar dedicated to gold, where individuals acquire their precious wedding and engagement ornaments.
Afterwards, you will be driven to a captivating destination: the Abo Al Abbas Mosque, which is renowned as the most impressive and expansive mosque in the city. Adjacent to the mosque, there is an intriguing spectacle waiting for you. It is an ancient funfair tucked away, offering vintage amusement rides for children to enjoy alongside the delightful treat of cotton candy. On the other side, you will come across the corniche and the historical harbor. Here, you can witness old fishing boats, fishermen, and traditional fishermen crafting nets. The photographs taken in this area truly capture the breathtaking scenery. Continue exploring to see the exterior of Qaitbay Castle, built exactly where the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, once stood. This castle is an incredibly impressive sight and offers a perfect opportunity to capture some stunning photographs.
Later on, the car will take you to the Montazah Gardens. During the trip, there will be a chance for a quick 2-minute optional pause to taste the mouth watering freshly squeezed juices from the famous King of Mango at Alexandrian’s drive-thru. Moreover, you can also take a photo break at the memorial dedicated to the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria.
As you make your way to Montazah Palace and Gardens, you will have the opportunity to witness awe-inspiring views of the city and its beautiful coastline. This destination is about 25 kilometers away, and during your journey, you can also discover the historic Alexandria harbor, where an incredible assortment of 7000 underwater monuments were found.
When you go to Montazah Gardens, which is also called the Love Garden, you will get a chance to discover the beautiful gardens owned by King Farouk, the last king of Egypt. Moreover, you can appreciate the magnificent Haramlek and Salamlek palaces and enjoy a walk on the famous Montaza bridge. Continuing further, you will reach Tea Palace Island and be amazed by the scenic royal beaches that the queens often visit.

Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.
Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.

We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.
