The prices for the dahabiya depend on when you want to travel, how many people are in your group, and whether you want a private or shared dahabiya. Private dahabiyahs are usually more costly but provide a more exclusive and personalized experience. Additionally, prices may also differ depending on the season, with peak times being more expensive than quieter periods. For more information, please get in touch with us.
Please be aware that hotel ratings in Egypt are not comparable to those in the USA or Europe. Therefore, it is always recommended to choose hotels with a Luxury or Ultimate Luxury rating as a minimum when traveling to Egypt.

There is no need for worry or concern regarding your Sai Dahabiya Lake Cruise. You can expect an amazing and flawless experience throughout your Lake Nasser cruise, starting from our meeting in Aswan until our farewell in Abu Simbel.
Upon your arrival at Aswan’s airport or train station, a tour manager from Egywonders will greet you and accompany you to your designated area, where you will board the exquisite and carefully crafted Sai Dahabiya boat for your cruising experience. This will be made possible by a comfortable and contemporary air-conditioned vehicle.
Today, you will have the opportunity to explore two remarkable historical sites: Kalabsha Temple and Beit El Wali. Afterwards, your Dahabiya boat will continue sailing towards Khour el Ghazal Creek, where it will dock for the night. Throughout the day, you will be treated to a magnificent lunch and a delightful dinner onboard the boat. Rest assured, you will enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the comfort of your cabin, surrounded by the calm waters of Khour el Ghazal Creek.
Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner
Start your second day of 5 day Sai Dahabiya Lake Cruise with a delightful breakfast while on your Dahabiya, and then sit back and enjoy the beautiful views as the boat cruises leisurely towards Wadi El Seboua. Indulge in a high-quality lunch on board, followed by an afternoon tea around 3 p.m., and savor a delicious dinner in the evening.
You will have the rest of the evening to do whatever you please after dinner. Tonight, your accommodation will be on the water at Wadi El Seboua.
The package includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
On the third day of 5 day Sai Dahabiya Lake Cruise, you will visit the Valley of Lions, where you can discover the historic Wadi El Seboua temples. These temples, constructed in the period when Pharaoh Ramses II ruled during the 19th Dynasty, may not appear overly grand at first glance. However, as you delve into the site, you will be captivated by its numerous intriguing characteristics.
Similar to many other ancient artifacts found on the shores of Lake Nasser, these temples have been relocated from their initial positions to prevent them from being submerged by the construction of the High Dam and subsequent flooding.
Once you have explored these two temples, you will come back to the Sai Dahabiya, and it will start sailing towards Amada. During the journey, you will be served a delicious and nourishing lunch.
When you arrive at Amada, you will get off and explore three more captivating historical locations: the Temple of Amada, the Temple of Derr, and the Tomb of Penout.
The Temple of Amada was constructed during the reign of Pharaoh Thutmose III in the 18th Dynasty; however, additional sections were later added by the rulers of the 19th Dynasty, including Seti the 1st and Ramses the 2nd. Ramses the 2nd also built the Temple of Derr, which is carved into the nearby rock and is another remarkable site. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to explore the astonishing rock-cut Tomb of Pennut. These three ancient landmarks are situated near each other after being relocated from their original positions.
Once you complete your excursion, you will head back to the Sai Dahabiya. A lively Nubian Folkloric Show will entertain you, followed by a delicious dinner served on board. Tonight, you will be staying overnight on the ship, docked at Amada.
Food provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
As per usual, on the fourth day of your 5 day Sai Dahabiya Lake Cruise, you will start off with a delicious breakfast served on board. Your Dahabiya will then set sail towards Kasr Ibrim.
In the past, this place used to be a significant ancient city, both in terms of religion and politics. However, now all that remains is a small island and an old stronghold. The island is essentially the highest point of the old city, while the rest of the area vanished underwater due to the rising water levels caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
The fortress you can see is the lone ancient structure that remained intact despite the flooding in this region. All the other historical buildings near Lake Nasser were relocated to higher areas to preserve them. Kasr Ibrim holds significant archaeological importance, and access is restricted to only authorized archaeologists. Nevertheless, your Dahabiya boat will be able to approach closely, allowing you to capture some incredible photographs.
Afterwards, a delightful lunch will be provided to you as you sail towards Abu Simbel. Once you reach your destination, you will have the opportunity to partake in an amazing sightseeing adventure at the extraordinary Abu Simbel Temples. These temples are considered to be the second-most well-known ancient attraction in Egypt, following the Giza Pyramids. Their beauty and magnificence cannot be adequately described through mere words.
You will have the choice to attend a Sound and light show at the Abu Simbel Temples later in the day. It is important to note that this activity is separate from the Sai Dahabiya Lake Cruise and comes with an additional cost.
Like always, a flavorful dinner will be provided on your Dahabiya in the evening, and you will have the opportunity to spend tonight resting on the water at Abu Simbel.
Food provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Regrettably, today signifies the conclusion of your 5 day Sai Dahabiya Lake Cruise. However, prior to your departure, take some time to savor a satisfying breakfast on board, allowing yourself the opportunity to reflect upon the remarkable sights and experiences you have encountered throughout the cruise.
Once you finish eating breakfast, it will be time to bid farewell to any newfound companions and the majestic Abu Simbel Temples. Depending on your travel plans, you will be chauffeured to either the airport or railway station. We wish you an enjoyable journey ahead and express our gratitude for choosing Egypt Tours Plus.

Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.
Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.
Attention: If you possess a valid Schengen, USA, or UK Visa, we can offer you visa assistance upon your arrival. There is no need for you to apply at the embassy in advance.
We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.
