Day 1: Arrival at Cairo

 When you reach Cairo airport, you will find our representative waiting for you, displaying a sign that reads “Egywonders.” Subsequently, you will be driven to your hotel in a comfortable car with air conditioning. Your stay in Cairo will last for one night.

Day 2: Visit the Great Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

On the second day of the 4 day Cairo and Luxor tour package, you can take advantage of the opportunity to see the magnificent Great Pyramids and also visit the Egyptian Museum. Start your day with breakfast and then head to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum houses an incredible collection of artwork that spans 5,000 years, making it the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art in the world. There are over 250,000 authentic artifacts on display, and one particular exhibit showcases the incredible treasures, gold, and jewelry discovered in Tutankhamen’s tomb. These precious items had been sealed in the tomb for over 3,500 years until they were unearthed in the 1920s. Lastly, we will ensure that you safely return to your hotel as the day comes to an end.

(Optional) You can also choose to enjoy an evening trip to the Pyramids to witness the Sound and Light presentation. Spend the night in Cairo to get some rest.

Day 3: Luxor day tour by flight

On your third day of 4 day Cairo and Luxor tour package, you will be taken to the domestic airport for a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you and begin a full-day tour of the West Bank, including the Valley of Kings, Deir El Bahari Temple, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The Necropolis of Thebes is also on the Western bank. The tour will cross the Nile and explore tombs of different Dynasties and the Temple of Deir el-Bahari.

On the way back, make a short diversion to see the Colossi of Memnon, two large statues of Amenophis III facing the Nile, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Then, explore the eastern side of the river by visiting the Karnak and Luxor Temples. The Luxor Temple boasts a beautiful courtyard and granite statues of Ramses the Great. The tour begins at the Avenue of Sphinxes, where you will explore the Unfinished Propylon, Hypostyle Hall, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, and the beautifully adorned temple of Amon. The Sacred Lake and the Sacred Lake are also worth a visit.

• When it comes to domestic flights, we give details about the usual price and expected times of departure. For example, there are flights available from Cairo to Luxor either at 6 a.m. or 7 a.m., and from Luxor to Cairo at either 6 p.m. or 11 p.m.

• It’s important to know that if you have particular time preferences or want to change your existing reservation, there might be extra charges and changes to the overall cost. Additionally, it’s worth noting that certain flights going to Sharm or Hurghada have detours through Cairo Airport.

Hotel Rating in Egypt:

• Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.

Visa Service:

• Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.

• Attention: If you possess a valid Schengen, USA, or UK Visa, we can offer you visa assistance upon your arrival. There is no need for you to apply at the embassy in advance.

Traveling by overnight train is not recommended.

• We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.

Domestic flights:

The programs provide an estimate of the average cost and duration of domestic flights.

Extra fees may be added to flight tickets during peak seasons and if booked last minute, as they can become quite expensive without any prior warning. Asking for certain times for flights or making changes to reservations that have already been made may cause the total cost of the package to be adjusted.

Cruise schedule and Sailing times:

Occasionally, changes may occur in the Cruise itineraries, schedule, and sailing times along the Nile due to weather and sailing conditions. However, we guarantee that our clients will still have the opportunity to experience everything listed on their itineraries, although the order may vary.

Children’s policy:

1. Under 2 years free of charge.

2. During the period of 2 to 5 years, a quarter of the trip cost is paid.

3. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 will be charged half of the tour’s total cost.

4. 12+: Pay the full round price per adult.

Additional Entry Tickets

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.

Alexandria Trip

Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.

Essential Packing

You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
