Begin your day with breakfast before embarking on your tour to Sakkara, which is located 27 kilometers southwest of Cairo. This tour includes a visit to the iconic Step Pyramids of Sakkara, which were the first pyramids constructed for King Zoser. These pyramids are considered to be the evolution of the pyramid design, starting from the simple Mastaba shape and transitioning into the well-known pyramid shape. Close by, the smaller Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor, has also been preserved. After visiting these temples, you will return to Aswan.

Begin the excursion at the renowned library of Alexandria, which holds the distinction of being the largest library globally, boasting an impressive collection of 8 million books. Explore the library’s open court and take advantage of the opportunity to visit its free museums.
Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on Fridays or on public holidays. If you wish to access the reading area, you will be required to buy an additional ticket.
Afterwards, you can explore the location where the lighthouse, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood. Nowadays, the castle of Qaitbey occupies this site. Take a stroll through the royal gardens of King Farouk, who was the last ruler of Egypt, and admire the magnificent Haramlek and Salamlek palaces, as well as the beaches reserved for the queens. Your tour can then proceed to the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, known for its beauty and impressive size, which is the most noteworthy one in the city. Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.
You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
