Begin your journey by exploring the Step Pyramids of Zoser, an ancient marvel constituting the oldest significant stone construction in the world. Constructed in 2630 BC for King Djoser during the 3rd Dynasty, these pyramids serve as a testament to the historical heritage of Egypt. Following this visit, make your way to Memphis, a city established by King Menes. Memphis notable for being the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom and remained a hub of governing and cultural activity for an impressive duration spanning over 3000 years. Another highlight of this stop is the opportunity to witness the magnificent statue of Ramses II. As the day comes to an end, head back to the hotel in Cairo for a restful overnight stay.
Starting with breakfast, our guide will collect you from your hotel and take you to Salah El Din Citadel. This historic fortress, built by Salah El Din in 1183 AD, stands atop the Moqattam hills and was intended to protect Cairo from the Crusaders. Next, we will visit the magnificent Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. This impressive mosque was designed by Yousif Boushnaq, an architect from Istanbul who specifically traveled to Egypt to construct it for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt from 1805 to 1849, who reigned for an impressive 45 years.
Next, continue your journey by exploring Old Cairo, where you can admire impressive sights such as the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga. Afterward, make your way to Khan El Khalili Bazaar for an exciting shopping experience. Return to your hotel for the night and enjoy your stay in Cairo.

The journey begins with a visit to the Temple of Abu Simbel, an immense structure constructed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty of ancient Egypt. This remarkable temple has recently been rescued from being submerged by the waters of the Nile and is considered one of the most magnificent ancient Egyptian monuments.
The temples were constructed using sandstone from a rock cliff, and the massive front of each temple was designed with engravings portraying the deities they were devoted to. A short distance away, the small temple of the King’s spouse, Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor, has also been preserved. Returning to Aswan.
Board the cruise ship. Have lunch on the ship. Set sail towards Kom Ombo. Enjoy afternoon tea. Tour the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Edfu. Have dinner on the ship. Attend a disco party. Spend the night in Edfu.

Initially, you will visit Abydos, which the ancient Egyptians believed to be the burial place of the god of the underworld. This temple, known as the Temple of Seti I, was constructed by King Seti I and later finished by King Ramses II.
The site is situated in the city of Abydos, which is approximately 420 km south of Cairo in the Sohag Government and about 135 km away from Luxor.
The Osiris Temple in Abydos houses remarkably well-preserved paintings depicting the gods and pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Following this visit, we will proceed to the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to the goddess of love and joy, located in Dandara, a town situated to the north of Luxor. Finally, we will transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor.

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.
Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.
You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
