On the third day, we will embark on a tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili.
Begin your day by having breakfast and heading to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Get there early in the morning and begin your exploration by visiting the beautiful exterior gardens. Marvel at the stunning views and take a moment to admire the impressive architecture of the museum building. Take some time to browse the commercial area, where you can purchase souvenirs and grab a quick breakfast or coffee at one of the cafes. Finally, enter the Grand Hall, which serves as the main entrance to the museum.
Marvel at the magnificent size of the hall and experience the educational exhibits and displays that offer a glimpse into the museum’s past and importance. Participate in interactive activities or presentations found in the Grand Hall to deepen your knowledge of Egypt’s vibrant cultural legacy. In the afternoon, seize the opportunity to be part of a guided tour of the museum’s restricted areas. Follow the expert guide as they share valuable information about the museum’s arrangement, architecture, and preparations for its official unveiling.
In the late afternoon, it is recommended to return to the commercial area to do some last-minute shopping or buy souvenirs. It is also suggested to take a final walk around the exterior gardens, taking advantage of the remaining chances to take photos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It’s important to note that this itinerary is specifically designed for the limited-access tours that are currently available before the official opening. Keep yourself informed about any official announcements regarding the full opening date and the chance to explore all the interior spaces of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Have breakfast and then go to the domestic airport. Board a plane to Luxor, and once you arrive, go to visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor.
Visit the Luxor Temple to witness its courtyard and the granite sculptures of Ramses the Great. Afterwards, travel by bus to Karnak, a collection of temples constructed during various ruling periods.
Begin your journey at the Avenue of Sphinxes and explore the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall featuring 134 massive columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus motifs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake. Next, proceed to the Luxor Museum and, subsequently, transfer to your accommodation.

Proceed to explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a structure commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut herself. She was the daughter of Thutmosis I and governed Egypt for roughly 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (around 1490 to 1469 B.C.). Notably, she is the sole female pharaoh to have ever ruled ancient Egypt.
Following this, continue your journey by visiting the Valley of the Queens.

The temple, known as the Temple of Seti I, was constructed by him and later completed by King Ramses II. Situated in Abydos city within Sohag Government, about 420 km south of Cairo and 135 km from Luxor, the Osiris Temple at Abydos showcases stunningly preserved paintings of gods and pharaohs on its walls, some of the finest in all of Egypt.

Have breakfast and then travel to Edfu, where you will be transported to the magnificent temple honoring Horus. This temple is widely regarded as the best-preserved religious temple in Egypt.
According to Egyptian mythology, this was the location where the god Horus, who had the head of a falcon, sought vengeance for the murder of his father Osiris by ultimately killing Seth.
Afterward, proceed to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, located on elevated land with a view of the Nile. This temple is distinct from others due to its two entrances, each dedicated to a different deity: Haroeris,” represented by a falcon head, and Sobek,” represented by a crocodile head.
The Temple of Kom Ombo was constructed to pay tribute to two gods: Sobek, who has the head of a crocodile and is associated with fertility and creation, and Haroeris, also known as Horus, who has the head of a falcon. Another noteworthy aspect of Kom Ombo is its expansive sugar cane production.
Then move to your hotel in Aswan.

This magnificent temple, constructed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty, is considered one of the greatest treasures of ancient Egyptian architecture. It was recently rescued from being submerged under the waters of the Nile, making it even more remarkable.
The temples were constructed using sandstone from a rock cliff, and carvings of the corresponding deities adorn their large exteriors. In close proximity, the Temple of Queen Nefertari, devoted to the goddess Hathor, has been preserved. Then, returning to Aswan

Hatshepsut was a ruler of the 18th dynasty and the wife of King Tuthmosis II.
