On the fourth day of our 13 days signature pharaohs pyramids package, we arrived in Aswan, where we had the opportunity to visit the beautiful temple of Isis, located on an island. Experience the journey of flying towards the southern lands of Aswan, inclusive of internal flights.
When you reach your destination, embark on the ‘sanctuary sun boat iii,’ a lavish residence on the Nile for the next eight nights. Here, you will be greeted with a lively zaffa, featuring drums and flutes, to warmly welcome you. Lunch will be served on board.
Following your lunch, you can go for a sail on a felucca, which is a traditional Egyptian sailboat, around Elephantine Island, the botanical gardens owned by Lord Kitchener, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Please note that this activity is subject to weather conditions, and we will provide life jackets for your safety. You can indulge in afternoon tea in the lounge while being serenaded by a trio playing the oud. This evening, your boat manager will welcome you while you indulge in a variety of appetizers accompanied by complimentary Egyptian wine and local beer. You will also be treated to a delicious gourmet dinner served on the boat.
On the fifth day of our 13 days signature pharaohs pyramids package, we visited the Philae temple and the unfinished obelisk. There will be a breakfast buffet available on the boat, and after that, passengers can take a brief motorboat trip to explore the delightful and grand Philae Temple located on Agilika Island. Following this, there will be a visit to the granite quarries that provided the ancient Egyptians with the majority of the durable stone utilized in constructing pyramids and temples. These quarries also contain a massive, unfinished obelisk.

On the sixth day of our Nile cruise, we explored the magnificent Temple of Horus and indulged in a lavish dining experience fit for a pharaoh. Start your day with a delightful breakfast onboard and then embark on a fascinating adventure to discover the remarkable Horus temple. During the journey to Esna, lunch will be provided.
A cooking class featuring Egyptian cuisine will be offered on the boat following lunch. Take advantage of the remaining afternoon to relax and enjoy the various amenities available on board, such as the swimming pool, games room, and gymnasium. While you journey to Luxor, you will be able to enjoy afternoon tea.
There will be a costume party tonight called Egyptian Night, where all guests can dress up in traditional Egyptian attire called “galabeyya”. Dinner will consist of a grand buffet filled with Egyptian delicacies, and afterwards, everyone can enjoy Oriental music and dancing.

On the eighth day of 13 days signature pharaohs pyramids package, we will embark on a cruise along the Nile River, where we will have the opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride and explore the Valley of the Kings. Hot air balloon ride
You will be served breakfast on the boat. This morning, you will have the opportunity to explore the Valley of the Kings and visit the tombs of different dynasties. One of the tombs you will have access to is King Tutankhamun’s, who ruled Egypt for about 10 years from 1336 to 1327 BCE. In November 1922, Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon discovered King Tutankhamun’s almost intact tomb in the Valley of the Kings. When the burial chamber was officially opened on February 17, 1923, Egyptologists and government officials witnessed the mummified body of the king surrounded by valuable grave items inside a golden coffin.
Presently, Tutankhamun stands as the most renowned pharaoh of ancient Egypt. However, the depth of your understanding of the young ruler remains uncertain. During the duration of this tour, I will acquaint you with the lesser-known details about Tutankhamun.
In the valley of the queens, you’ll get the opportunity to explore a tomb and also visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. As you return to the River Nile, you’ll pass by the renowned colossi of Memnon, which were known in ancient Greek times for their eerie sounds in the early morning. Your exploration of the east bank will commence with a stop at the Karnak temple, followed by a delightful breakfast buffet on the ship. After sailing to Esna in the morning, have lunch on the boat.
Following lunch, your Egyptologist will give you a tour of the Khnum Temple in Esna, which dates back to the Greco-Roman era. The temple’s main attraction is the remarkably well-preserved Great Hypostyle Hall, constructed during the rule of the Roman Emperor Claudius. This hall was unearthed from the layers of silt that had accumulated over many years due to the annual floods of the Nile River. It currently sits approximately nine meters below modern street level. During the journey to Edfu, passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea on board.

On the tenth day of our 13 days signature pharaohs pyramids package, we visited the ancient temple of Kom Ombo. You will have the opportunity to have breakfast while on the ship. Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.
You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
