Begin your day with breakfast and embark on a journey to explore the iconic pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Afterward, continue onward to witness the majestic Great Sphinx, an ancient marvel that originates from the era of the Chephren. Additionally, take time to visit the Valley Temple of the Pyramids and enjoy numerous opportunities for capturing remarkable photographs along the way.
To begin with, you will have the opportunity to explore Sakkara, Memphis, and Dahshur. Your first stop will be Sakkara, where you can marvel at the Step Pyramid of Djoser. This remarkable structure, which was constructed around 2600 BC during the reign of the 3rd Dynasty, holds the distinction of being the oldest stone building. It was specifically built for King Djoser. In close proximity, you will find the Imhotep temple and the Mastaba of Ti.
Next, make your way to Memphis, the former capital of Ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom and the initial capital of Egypt. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the magnificent statue of Ramses II located in Memphis. You will stop by the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid of Dashsur while traveling south.

Overnight in Cairo
Have breakfast and begin your tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Inside, you will find an extraordinary exhibition of artwork that spans 5,000 years. This collection is the largest and most valuable compilation of Egyptian art in the entire world. Next, proceed to the Manial Palace. Following the visit to the palace, proceed to the Gayer Anderson Museum. Then move to Khan El Khalili’s old bazaar.
Transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo
Start the fourth day of 13 days cairo, luxor, aswan, abu simbel & alexandria with breakfast. Then, head to the domestic airport for your flight to Luxor. Once you arrive, you will be transferred to visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. A trip to Luxor Temple to view its courtyard and the magnificent granite sculptures of Ramses the Great Then, travel by bus to Karnak, a complex of temples constructed during various ruling periods. Embarking from the Avenue of Sphinxes, explore the Unfinished Propylon, the grand Hypostyle Hall featuring 134 colossal columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon, beautifully decorated with lotus and papyrus motifs, the imposing Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III, and the esteemed Sacred Lake.
Next, proceed to explore the Luxor Museum and then make your way to your hotel.
Overnight in Luxor
Begin your fifth day of 13 days cairo, luxor, aswan, abu simbel & alexandria with breakfast and then embark on a tour to explore the Valley of the Kings. This remarkable place showcases architectural grandeur and served as the final resting place for numerous kings. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore three tombs, excluding the famous Tomb of King Tutankhamun.
Proceed to appreciate the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was constructed by Queen Hatshepsut herself, the daughter of Thutmosis I. She held the position of ruler in Egypt for around 20 years during the 18th Dynasty, spanning from approximately 1490 to 1469 B.C. Notably, she was the sole female pharaoh to reign in ancient Egypt. Then proceed to explore the burial sites of the affluent individuals and the monumental temple.
Next, proceed with a visit to the Valley of the Queens. During the tour, there will be a brief 15-minute visit to the Colossi of Memnon and the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Luxor
Start your sixth day of 13 days cairo, luxor, aswan, abu simbel & alexandria with a visit to Abydos, the ancient Egyptian city where it is believed that the god Osiris, lord of the underworld, is buried. The temple in Abydos, known as the Temple of Seti I, was built by King Seti I and completed by King Ramses II. Located about 420 km south of Cairo in the Sohag Government and 135 km from Luxor, this temple is famous for its exquisitely preserved paintings of gods and pharaohs on its walls.
Afterwards, proceed to Dendera, where you can explore the Temple of Hathor, the deity associated with love and happiness. This temple is situated in the northern part of Luxor, in the town of Dendera.
Transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Luxor
Enjoy breakfast and then take a drive to Edfu. Once there, you will be provided with transportation to visit the grand temple honoring Horus. This temple is widely regarded as the best-preserved religious temple in Egypt. As per the beliefs of ancient Egyptians, this location was where the deity Horus, with the head of a falcon, sought vengeance for the killing of his father Osiris by slaying Seth.
Afterwards, proceed to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, located on elevated grounds that offer a view of the Nile. This temple is distinct from others due to its unique feature of having two entrances. Each entrance is devoted to a different deity: one to “Haroeris” with a falcon head, and the other to “Sobek” with a crocodile head. The Temple of Kom Ombo was constructed to pay tribute to two gods: Sobek, who had a crocodile head and was associated with fertility and creation, and Haroeris, an ancient deity with a falcon head named Horus. In addition, the significance of Kom Ombo is attributed to its extensive sugar-cane cultivation.
Then move to your hotel in Aswan.
Overnight in Aswan
Have breakfast, and then set out to visit the Temple of Abu Simbel. This immense temple was constructed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty and was recently rescued from being flooded by the Nile. It is considered one of the most magnificent ancient Egyptian monuments.
The temples were constructed from sandstone rock cliffs, with carvings of the corresponding deities depicted on their large fronts. Close by, the Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor and belonging to the King’s wife, is also preserved. Returning to Aswan.

On the ninth day of 13 days cairo, luxor, aswan, abu simbel & alexandria, the itinerary includes visits to the High Dam, Philae Temple, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Begin your day with breakfast before embarking on a tour to the High Dam. This remarkable piece of engineering, constructed in 1960, serves to safeguard Egypt from the yearly floods brought by the Nile River.
Hatshepsut, who was a ruler of the 18th dynasty and the wife of King Tuthmosis II, It is highly likely that this unfinished obelisk belonged to her, and it showcases the methods employed by ancient Egyptians when carving obelisks. Queen Hatshepsut was also the owner of the Al Deir El-Bahari temple, located on the eastern bank of Luxor. Some experts believe this obelisk may also have ties to another queen.
Nefertiti. Next, we visit the impressive Philae Temple, a monument constructed to pay homage to the goddess Isis, who was revered as the main god of the island.

Overnight in Aswan
In the morning, have breakfast before heading to Aswan airport, where you will take a flight to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel for the night. You have the option to enjoy a meal on a Nile cruise while taking in an Egyptian folk show.
Start your 11th day of 13 days cairo, luxor, aswan, abu simbel & alexandria with breakfast before we pick you up from your hotel. We will then travel to Alexandria, where our first stop will be the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa. These catacombs are the largest Roman cemetery, with three levels carved into the rock. After that, we will drive to see the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria, where you can view the sunken monuments that were discovered in the East Harbor. Along the way, we will also pass by Pompay’s Pillar, a monument built in honor of Emperor Diocletian in the late 4th century. Feel free to take a photo stop at this historical landmark.
The next destination on the itinerary is the Library of Alexandria, which is the largest library globally and currently houses approximately 8 million books. Once you arrive, make sure to explore its open court, where you will be able to witness the presence of two remarkable statues: one commemorating Alexander the Great and the other honoring Ptolemy the First, which was discovered submerged in a nearby location.
Please be advised that the Alexandria Library is not open on Fridays or on public holidays. In order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain a ticket. Afterward, the vehicle will transport you to the esteemed St. Mark’s Church, which holds the title of being the oldest church on the African continent. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to observe the antiquated city center and the captivating local historical buildings, featuring intricate baroque designs influenced by Italian and French architectural styles. Explore El Nabi Daniel Mosque, a site that holds significance for numerous individuals due to its alleged connection to the burial place of Alexander the Great. According to popular belief, this mosque houses the remains of the esteemed scholar and revered Prophet Daniel, as well as Sidi Lokman el Hakim, a religious storyteller who was his companion. You have the option to enjoy a meal at either a contemporary seafood restaurant or an acclaimed, heritage-rich establishment in Alexandria known as Mohamed Ahmed’s. This restaurant is frequented by esteemed individuals, including the Queen of Spain, whenever they come to visit the city. Afterwards, the vehicle will transport you to see the most beautiful and largest mosque in the city, known as the Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Adjacent to this mosque is an unusual scene: an ancient funfair where children enjoy riding on vintage funfair attractions and indulging in cotton candy.
Across from us is the corniche and the historic harbor, where you can witness the presence of old fishing boats, men engaging in the act of fishing, and traditional fishermen crafting nets. The photographs captured in this area are truly awe-inspiring. Additionally, make sure to explore the exterior of Quaitbay Castle, situated in the same location as the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. This castle is exceptionally magnificent and would make for a remarkable photo opportunity.
Afterward, you will be transported by car to Montaza Gardens. Along the way, you will have the opportunity for a brief 2-minute stop at the King of Mango, where you can enjoy freshly squeezed juices from Alexandria’s drive-thru and take a photo at the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria. As you travel to Montaza Palace and Gardens, which is approximately 25 km away, you will be able to enjoy the stunning coastline and city views. Additionally, the route will pass by the old harbor of Alexandria, where we discovered 7,000 submerged monuments.
When you visit Montaza Gardens, which is also called the Love Garden and is a popular spot for romantic couples and families, you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful royal gardens that belonged to King Farouk, the final monarch in Egypt’s history. You can also admire the grand palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, stroll across the famous Montaza bridge, and reach the Tea Palace island, where you can enjoy the scenic royal beaches that were frequented by the queens.
During your journey back, you will make a stop at the renowned Stanley Bridge, a contemporary symbol of Alexandria constructed by Alexander the Great. Afterwards, you will peacefully return to your hotel in a comfortable manner.
Overnight in Alexandria
Have breakfast and then proceed to visit Alamain. Explore the history of WWII in Egypt, including the renowned figure of Rommel, also known as the Desert Fox, as well as other notable individuals. After that, drive for approximately one hour to Alamein, where you can visit the War Museum of Alamain. This museum showcases various artifacts such as weapons, tanks, airplanes, and bicycles that were utilized during the Second World War. It also provides detailed accounts of the actions and strategies employed by Montgomery, Rommel, and other participants in the battle.
Next, you will proceed towards the western part of Al Alamein, a stunning town that provides a picturesque view of the Mediterranean Sea. Upon arrival, you can tour the cemeteries dedicated to those who lost their lives in World War II. The citadel-like graveyards serve as the ultimate resting place for soldiers from various backgrounds, including those from the CommonWealth, Greece, Italy, and Germany. Take your time exploring the CommonWealth Cemetery, the Italian Cemetery, and the German Cemetery.
Return to your hotel in Cairo in a comfortable manner.

You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
