The Temple of Kom Ombo was constructed as a tribute to two gods: Sobek, who had the head of a crocodile and was believed to bring fertility and create the world, and Haroeris, or Horus, an ancient deity with a falcon head. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.
