Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your designated tour manager from egywonders  will be there to greet you and support you through the arrival procedures. Using a luxurious, air-conditioned vehicle, they will then accompany you to your hotel. While at the hotel, the tour manager will ensure a seamless check-in process and take the time to discuss and finalize the schedule for each tour, establishing the pick-up times for your convenience. Enjoy your overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2:Pyramids and Sakkara

Your personal guide will accompany you to the Giza Plateau after breakfast to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. You will also visit the famous Sphinx and the Valley Temple that face the magnificent statue. At an additional cost, you can visit the Solar Boat in front of the Cheops Pyramid. A good-quality restaurant will serve lunch before you explore the Sakkara area and visit the Sakkara Complex, which houses the first ever built pyramid, the Djoser Pyramid. You will then proceed to Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom and renowned Necropolis. Lastly, you will stay overnight in Cairo.

Day 3:Cairo Sightseeing/Train to Aswan

On your 3rd 12 day Cairo and Nile cruise by flight package, after having breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, your private guide will accompany you to various attractions. You will first visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses the treasures of the child king Tutankhamen, along with other intriguing artifacts. You can also opt to visit the mummy room at the museum for an additional fee. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant during the tour. Afterwards, you will proceed to the Saladin Citadel, where you can explore the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Next, you will visit Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. The itinerary will then take you to Islamic Cairo, where you can explore Khan El Khalili, the old bazaar of Cairo. Lastly, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to catch the sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be provided onboard, and you will spend the night in your own compartment.

Day 4: Arrival in Aswan

Upon your arrival at Aswan Station, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. If you so choose, there is an additional tour option available to visit Abu Simbel Temple, a renowned tourist site in Egypt. This magnificent temple was meticulously carved into the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II around the 13th century BC and was intended to serve as a permanent memorial for himself and his queen Nefertari. Your stay for the night will be in Aswan.

If you are interested in taking an Abu Simbel tour, it will be scheduled for day 5, while the Aswan sightseeing tours will take place on day 4.

Day 5:Aswan Sightseeing

Start your 5th day of 12 day Cairo and Nile cruise by flight package with breakfast at your hotel in Aswan. Afterward, proceed to board your Nile River cruise before noon. During your cruise, you will have the opportunity to explore remarkable sites such as the renowned High Dam, the impressive Philae temple dedicated to Isis and Hathor, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk located in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt’s northern region. Later, enjoy dinner on board the cruise and spend the night in Aswan.

Day 6:Kom Ombo/Edfu

Embark on a journey to Kom Ombo, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast on the ship and explore the remarkable temple that is dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Afterwards, sail to Edfu and indulge in a satisfying lunch on board before visiting the incredibly well-preserved cult temple of Horus in Edfu, considered the finest in all of Egypt. As you continue your voyage, savor a pleasant afternoon tea while sailing towards Esna. Conclude the day with a satisfying dinner and enjoy an overnight stay on the ship.

Day 7: Luxor West Bank

Embark on a sailing trip to Luxor, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast on the boat. Explore the West Bank and take a guided tour to the Valley of the Kings, which is the final resting place of 62 Pharaohs. Visit the impressive mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, constructed during the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut’s reign in the 15th century BC. Discover the serene El-Deir El-Bahari and the awe-inspiring Colossi of Memnon. Indulge in a delightful onboard lunch and savor afternoon tea as you sail. End the day with a delectable dinner on board and spend the night in Luxor.

Day 8: Luxor East Bank/Hurghada

Enjoy breakfast on the cruise ship before disembarking. Afterward, you will be transferred to see the impressive Karnak and Luxor temples. In the afternoon, you will be transported to Hurghada, a beautiful destination on the Red Sea. The journey from Luxor to Hurghada takes approximately three and a half hours. Spend the night in Hurghada.

Day 9: Hurghada Vacation

On your 9th day of 12 day Cairo and Nile cruise by flight package, You have the choice to take part in optional tours that allow you to explore and enjoy the breathtaking diving and snorkeling experiences on the coral reefs of the Red Sea. These tours also give you the opportunity to witness incredible, rare fish species. Alternatively, you can opt for various other exciting activities like windsurfing, sailing, and deep-sea fishing. After a day full of adventures, you will spend the night in Hurghada.

Day 10: Hurghada Vacation

You will have the rest of the day to explore and relax. You will spend the night in Cairo.

Hotel Rating in Egypt:

• Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.

Visa Service:

• Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.

• Attention: If you possess a valid Schengen, USA, or UK Visa, we can offer you visa assistance upon your arrival. There is no need for you to apply at the embassy in advance.

Traveling by overnight train is not recommended.

• We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.

Domestic flights:

The programs provide an estimate of the average cost and duration of domestic flights.

Extra fees may be added to flight tickets during peak seasons and if booked last minute, as they can become quite expensive without any prior warning. Asking for certain times for flights or making changes to reservations that have already been made may cause the total cost of the package to be adjusted.

Cruise schedule and Sailing times:

Occasionally, changes may occur in the Cruise itineraries, schedule, and sailing times along the Nile due to weather and sailing conditions. However, we guarantee that our clients will still have the opportunity to experience everything listed on their itineraries, although the order may vary.

Children’s policy:

1. Under 2 years free of charge.

2. During the period of 2 to 5 years, a quarter of the trip cost is paid.

3. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 will be charged half of the tour’s total cost.

4. 12+: Pay the full round price per adult.

Additional Entry Tickets

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.

Alexandria Trip

Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.

Essential Packing

You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
