Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, our representative will be waiting for you with a sign displaying Egywonders Tours. You will then be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned car. Your stay in Cairo will last overnight.
On the second day of 11 days of Dahabiya and Pharaoh’s adventure, you will visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. A visit to the Royal Mummies Hall at the Egyptian Civilization Museum is highly recommended. This section displays the preserved remains of royal mummies discovered in various tombs. The room is carefully regulated to maintain the mummies’ condition, and they seem to be well cared for. Afterwards, you can explore the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. Cheops is renowned for being the largest and most monumental structure ever constructed. Following that, you can have a detailed examination of the Sphinx, a grand burial site protected by the mythical lion-shaped body with the visage of King Chephren.
Have a great time while riding on a camel and taking in the breathtaking sights of the sphinx and pyramids. Discover fascinating and secret tales about the lives of the Pharaohs that you won’t find in books. I will provide you with valuable insights and information. Go for an evening excursion to the Pyramids area to witness the mesmerizing Sound and Light show.
In the morning, our guide will come to collect you from your accommodation to have breakfast.Travel to see the Step Pyramids of Zoser, which are the oldest major stone structures in the world. These pyramids were constructed in the 3rd Dynasty, around 2630 BC, for King Djoser. Afterward, journey to Memphis, a city established by King Menes that was the capital of Ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom. You have the choice to take an evening excursion where you can have dinner on a Nile cruise for 2 hours while enjoying traditional Egyptian performances.
Have breakfast and then proceed to the domestic airport. Take a flight to Luxor.
After arriving and being transported, you will have the opportunity to visit the Luxor Museum. This exceptional museum showcases a carefully curated and expertly exhibited collection of ancient artifacts spanning from the decline of the Old Kingdom to the Mamluk era. The majority of these treasures were obtained from the Theban temples and necropolis, providing visitors with a fascinating insight into Egypt’s rich history.
Afterwards, continue your journey to explore the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Take a trip to the Luxor Temple, where you can witness its courtyard and the magnificent statues of Ramses the Great made of granite. Then, move forward to the Karnak Temple. Afterward, you will be transported to the dock, where you will begin your distinctive voyage on the Dahabiya.

Start your fifth day of 11 days of Dahabiya and Pharaoh’s adventure with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a visit to the West Bank, specifically the Valley of the Kings, where you will have the opportunity to explore the tombs of different Dynasties. One of the highlights of this visit will be the chance to enter King Tutankhamun’s tomb. Next, continue on to explore the Temple of Deir el-Bahari, dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut. During the return trip, make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, a pair of enormous seated statues depicting Amenhotep III gazing towards the Nile. Afterward, proceed to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Overnight in Dahabiya
In the morning, after having breakfast, take a trip to Esna Temple. The majority of your day will be spent cruising on the Nile River, and as the evening approaches, your Dahabiya boat will anchor near Hegaz Village for the night.
Following your morning meal, your Dahabiya will embark towards Edfu, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu, known as the most well-preserved ancient cult temple ever found in Egypt. Once you have finished exploring, the journey will continue to Bassawa Island, where you can enjoy another tranquil evening aboard the vessel.
Start your eighth day of 11 days of Dahabiya and Pharaoh’s adventure with a delightful breakfast on the luxurious Dahabiya Nile cruise. Afterward, set sail to Gebel El-Silsila, where you’ll be guided to explore the remarkable Gebel El-Silsila itself. The journey will then take you to Kom Ombo, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to two gods, Horus and Sobek. Horus, symbolized by a falcon head, is associated with the morning sun, while Sobek is the deity of the crocodile. Conclude the day by spending another pleasurable night on the Nile aboard your Dahabiya, this time close to a village called Fares.
Take another leisurely day to enjoy the views and sounds of the Nile River. Upon reaching Aswan, you will have the opportunity to tour the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Spend the evening on your cruise ship, which will remain docked in Aswan.
Visit a Nubian village situated on the western side of the Nile River. While traveling there, appreciate the panoramic sights of Soheil Island and the Aswan Dam and take photographs of the stunning landscapes. Accompanied by your guide, visit a local village and have the opportunity to meet a typical Nubian family. Acquire knowledge about their way of life and culture, and gain understanding about the longstanding traditions that the Nubian people have upheld for countless millennia.

(Optional) Abu Simble trip
The temple of Abu Simbel, which was constructed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty, is an impressive and prominent ancient Egyptian monument. This temple was at risk of being flooded by Nile waters but was successfully preserved.
The temples were constructed from a sandstone cliff and featured carvings depicting the gods they were dedicated to on their grand front. Not far away, the Temple of Nefertari, the King’s wife, dedicated to the goddess Hathor, has also been preserved. Let’s return to Aswan. Head to Aswan Airport and catch a flight to Cairo for your ultimate departure.

We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.
Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.
You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
