Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

When you arrive at Cairo Airport, our representative from egywonders Tours will be waiting for you with a sign. They will then transport you to your hotel in an air-conditioned car. You will spend the night in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo

Begin your second day of 11 days cairo, nile cruise & sharm el sheikh by train package with breakfast. Go to the train station to catch your train heading to Aswan. Enjoy dinner on the train and spend the night on board.

Please note that we do not advise it, as it takes 15 to 18 hours. Instead, we suggest upgrading and opting for a domestic flight that will provide a more comfortable travel experience and an additional night in a luxurious 5-star hotel.

Day 3: Aswan

Day 5: Luxor

Have breakfast while on board. Then, go to the West Bank and explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Afterward, cross the Nile and continue driving to the Valley of the Kings, where you can visit the tombs of different dynasties and the Temple of Deir El Bahari.

During the trip back, make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which consists of two massive seated statues depicting Amenopis III, facing towards the Nile. In addition, explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Enjoy your lunch onboard the boat and have the rest of the afternoon to relax. Later in the day, savor some afternoon tea. Day 6: Sharm el-Sheikh

You can then continue your journey by either carriage or bus to Karnak, a complex of temples that were constructed during different time periods. Begin your journey along the Avenue of Sphinxes, where you will have the opportunity to explore notable landmarks such as the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall boasting an impressive 134 colossal columns, the Obelisks belonging to Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon adorned with exquisite lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III, and lastly, the Sacred Lake. Travel to the airport for your flight to Sharm El-Sheikh. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the night in Sharm.

Day 7: Sharm el-Sheikh

Breakfast. Free day. 

You have the option to spend a full day at Ras Mohamed. Departure from the hotel is at 9:00 a.m., with a journey of 30 km on a paved road and around 5 km on an unpaved road. When you reach Ras Mohamed, you can climb up to the Shark Observatory to see the stunning views of both the Aqaba and Suez Gulfs. 

Afterwards, we will return to the main beach to appreciate the magnificent coral reef and crystal-clear water before heading back to Sharm. (The tour also offers complimentary soft drinks.)

Day 8: Sharm El Sheikh

(Optional) Excursion to the Canyon: Departure is scheduled for 5:30 AM, where a jeep will transport individuals directly to the canyon within a 2.5-hour journey. Upon arrival, participants begin their descent down the mountain and subsequently climb up the other side, where the jeep will be waiting to transport them back to Sharm. On the return journey, the jeep made a stop in Nweibaa for a one-hour lunch break. Following that, the jeep drove to Dahab to spend an additional hour shopping before returning to Sharm.

Day 9: Cairo

Enjoy a morning meal before setting off on a comfortable, air-conditioned bus to reach Cairo. Once you arrive, you will be taken to your hotel.

Day 10: Cairo

After having breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sakkara, which is located 27 kilometers southwest of Cairo. This tour includes a visit to the Step Pyramids of Sakkara, which were the first proper pyramids built for King Zoser. They represent the evolution of the pyramid from the simple Mastaba to the pyramid in its known form. Afterward, explore the Pyramids of Unas and then head to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. Here, you can admire the impressive Colossal Statue of Ramses II and the magnificent Alabaster Sphinx. Finally, visit the Old City of Cairo, a significant destination as Egypt was among the first countries to adopt Christianity. We will go sightseeing to the churches of Abu-Sergah and St. Berbara, as well as the hanging church. Additionally, we will make a stop at the ancient Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue. Afterwards, we will return to our hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay. 

Day 11: Departure

• Please be aware that the hotel rating system in Egypt differs from that in the USA or Europe. Therefore, we strongly suggest considering our Luxury or Ultimate Luxury hotel options as the minimum standard in Egypt. Some 5-star hotels in Egypt may have a lower standard compared to those in other regions, resembling more like 3- or 4-star hotels. We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.

Visa Service:

• Avoid long lines and time-consuming processes upon arrival. Our representative will ensure your visa is ready in advance. Simply send us a copy of your passport.

• Attention: If you possess a valid Schengen, USA, or UK Visa, we can offer you visa assistance upon your arrival. There is no need for you to apply at the embassy in advance.

Traveling by overnight train is not recommended.

• We do not suggest it as a good option since the journey lasts for approximately 15 to 18 hours and the train is incredibly noisy. The toilets are in poor condition and emit unpleasant odors. The overall quality of the food is not satisfactory.

The programs provide an estimate of the average cost and duration of domestic flights.

Extra fees may be added to flight tickets during peak seasons and if booked last minute, as they can become quite expensive without any prior warning. Asking for certain times for flights or making changes to reservations that have already been made may cause the total cost of the package to be adjusted.

Cruise schedule and Sailing times:

Occasionally, changes may occur in the Cruise itineraries, schedule, and sailing times along the Nile due to weather and sailing conditions. However, we guarantee that our clients will still have the opportunity to experience everything listed on their itineraries, although the order may vary.

Children’s policy:

1. Under 2 years free of charge.

2. During the period of 2 to 5 years, a quarter of the trip cost is paid.

3. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 will be charged half of the tour’s total cost.

4. 12+: Pay the full round price per adult.

Additional Entry Tickets

There are additional charges for certain archaeological sites on tours, such as exploring inside a pyramid to view burial chambers and visiting the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Entrance to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings also requires an extra fee.

Alexandria Trip

Please be aware that the Alexandria Library is not open on public holidays. Additionally, in order to access the reading area, it is necessary to obtain an additional ticket.

Essential Packing

You will require comfortable, flat shoes (ideally with a covering) when visiting the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Don’t forget to also pack flip flops or sandals to wear on the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
