Begin your second day of 10 days in Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, and Sharm el-Sheikh package with a meal, and then proceed to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Inside, you will find a remarkable assortment of artwork that spans 5,000 years, making it the most extensive and valuable collection of Egyptian art worldwide. The exhibits showcase over 250,000 authentic artifacts, with a special section dedicated to the treasures, gold, and jewelry of Tutankhamen. These precious items were hidden away in his tomb for more than 3,500 years until their discovery in the 1920s during an excavation of the tomb. Come see the impressive Great Pyramids known as Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. Cheops stands out as the largest and most enormous pyramid ever constructed. Afterwards, you can have a detailed view of the Sphinx, which is a massive tomb surrounded by the mythical body of a lion with the face of King Chephren.
Back to the hotel and overnight in Cairo
Our tour guide from egywonders , will come to your hotel to begin the third day of 10 days in Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, and Sharm el-Sheikh package. We will first visit the library of Alexandria, which is the largest library globally with a staggering collection of 8 million books. As we explore the library, we will be able to witness the open court, where remarkable statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy the First are displayed. It’s fascinating to note that the statue of Ptolemy was discovered underwater in close proximity to the library. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to visit various free museums and collections, including the Saddat Museum and the Alexandria Museum, where we can discover more about the rich history of this city.
Experience a visit to the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria, where you can witness the unveiling of the submerged monuments of Alexandria that were found beneath the East Harbor of the city. Afterwards, the car will transport you to St. Mark’s Church, which is the most ancient church in Africa. Following that, you will explore the historic downtown of Alexandria. Here, you can wander through the city’s center and observe the traditional markets, where a wide array of goods are available, including traditional Egyptian delicacies. The local architecture showcases elegant baroque designs and influences from Italian and French styles.
Many individuals believe that the El Nabi Daniel Mosque is connected to the tomb of Alexander the Great. The mosque is said to house the remains of Prophet Daniel, a respected scholar and instructor, as well as Sidi Lokman el Hakim, a religious storyteller. You have the choice to take a break for lunch at either a contemporary fish restaurant or an iconic and authentic Alexandrian eatery known as Mohamed Ahmed’s. This particular place is frequented by the Queen of Spain and numerous other renowned individuals whenever they are in Alexandria. You have the choice to relax at either a high-quality coffee shop or a traditional shisha cafe. Keep exploring your tour by moving through Mansheya’s oldest market district. Witness the presence of the traditional women’s markets, known as “zan’et etsetat,” which boast incredibly slim and cramped streets. Additionally, this area is home to a gold market where individuals purchase their wedding and engagement jewelry.
Next, the car will transport you to the most beautiful and largest mosque in the city, known as the Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Additionally, adjacent to the mosque, you will come across a peculiar spectacle: an ancient amusement park where children enjoy riding vintage amusement rides and indulging in cotton candy. On the other side, you will find the corniche and the historic harbor, where one can observe the presence of old fishing vessels, fishermen engaged in their work, and traditional fishermen crafting nets. The pictures captured in this area are truly awe-inspiring. Keep going to catch a glimpse of the exterior of Quaitbay Castle, constructed on the very same spot where the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood, a renowned wonder of the ancient world. This castle is particularly stunning and serves as an excellent opportunity for capturing memorable photographs.
Afterwards, the car will transport you to the Montaza Gardens. During the journey, you have the opportunity to make a quick optional stop for 2 minutes at the King of Mango and Alexndrian’s drive-thru, where you can enjoy freshly squeezed juices. Additionally, you can also take a photo break at the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier in Alexandria. As we make our way towards Montaza Palace and Gardens, located approximately 25 km away, we are treated to the stunning coastline and captivating cityscape views. Along the route, we pass by the historic harbor of Alexandria, where we were fortunate to discover a remarkable 7,000 underwater monuments.
In Montaza Gardens, also known as the Love Garden, where couples and families often visit, you can explore the beautiful royal gardens of King Farouk, the final monarch of Egypt. You will have the opportunity to admire the grand palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, stroll across the renowned Montaza bridge, and even venture to Tea Palace Island to witness the royal beaches favored by the queens.

While returning, make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which are two massive statues of Amenophis III sitting and facing the Nile. Also, ensure to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Travel to the eastern side of Luxor and explore the Karnak Temples, which serve as an exceptional testament to religious devotion throughout time. These grand structures were built in honor of the deities Amon, Mut, and Khonsu.
From the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco-Roman Kingdom, the construction of Luxor Temple took place. The temple’s construction started in the New Kingdom’s 18th Dynasty, led by Amunhotep III, and was later completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II, renowned in the 19th Dynasty, ruled Egypt for approximately 67 years. The temple was devoted to the great deities Amun-Ra, Mut, and their son Khonsu, collectively known as the Theban triad. When visiting, one can admire the Obelisk of Ramses II, situated in front of the 1st Pylon.

We do not recommend staying at 3- or 4-star hotels, as we have received numerous complaints from our guests regarding their quality.
